62411 I have a few questions - please give me an example of literary fiction- would the Tale of Edgar Sawtelle be considered one? Would I be able to read a novel in verse rather than an anthology of poems? Thanks, BJ

1154130 Literary fiction has more than one definition. Pick whatever one suits you. I know almost nothing about The Story of Edgar Sawtelle, but offhand I'd say you could call it literary fiction, sure.

I'd say that any book that isn't prose would count for the poetry category, so yes, a novel in verse is more than fine.

1556542 Can I just say that what you're doing is awesome! I think it's great that you are reading books that are outside the box of what you normally read.

I think I might try something like that...I always try to chose books that are different but I always seem to go back to what I love to read.

1154130 Feel free to have a go at it. Having the rules in front of me forces me to stick with the plan rather than let my mood dictate my reading habits.
