Tuğçe Sevin (TugceninKitapligi) | 606 comments I have started reading Garden Spells on 26th Aug and planned on finishing by the end of the month but I couldn't read even a page on my vacation, I was on foot walking around the city all day and dead tired in the evening so I read & finished this today right after I got back at the weekend. Thank you for recommending it to me Megan it was a great read! I will definitely read another book from her soon.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It is on my list to read soon, so I'm glad to hear it is good.

LethalLovely~Live Through This and You Won't Look Back (LethalLovely) | 818 comments Diane, I finally finished The Unbearable Lightness of Dragons (Light Dragons, #2) by Katie MacAlister.

The beginning was extremely confusing & it took me awhile to remember who was who. But after that it got really good. Thank you very much for the rec!

Sorry for not replying sooner. School is seriously cramping up my GR time. I hope you enjoy Perfect by Judith McNaught. It's one of my favorite McNaught novels.

Amy J. | 349 comments I forgot to post that I finished Shadowfever on August 31st. I cut it pretty close. I only had about an hour to spare.

Megan L Harnett | 802 comments Finished The Hunger Games today! I liked the love story but the whole premises bothered me. I give it 4 out of 5 stars but I am glad I finally read it!

Daffodil (Daffodil--RIPCranberry) | 1045 comments I finished One Day by David Nicholls last night. I had a little trouble getting into it at first for some reason. It was a little slow going. About halfway through I started to pick up interest and really care about the relationship between Dex & Em. The final chapters were very emotional.

Polina (p0lit0o) | 63 comments I just realised that I haven't reported back on my finished picks. I read Bonds of Justice and Touch of Frost. I liked the first one but the other was quite predictable.

Thanks for the great challenge, as always! :)

Hi Sara, a bit late but at last I finished the book thief. It was really a fantastic book, very well written, unique with Death as a narrator, the description was magical and so perfect, the story so emotional, in all Zusak made a great job.
I'm glad you like it too. I'm interested in reading your review, I'll keep an eye on it!

Pollyanna (Polly8) | 300 comments Hey Lisa I finished Vampire Crush last night and really enjoyed it, I'm a bit disappointed though that it isn't part of a series because I would love to read what happens to Sophie and James.

Cathy Galloway | 590 comments I finished Darkfever. I loved the story but I'm not sure I like it being a cliff hanger. I've put the next one on hold at the library and I hope I can get it quickly.

Ari (moochew12) | 159 comments Lisa, I finished the book.

Tiffanny | 137 comments I know I'm cutting it close, but I finished Crescendo. I also read Candy Houses with Fran =)

Sarah Dizon (sarahd828) | 227 comments Okay so I finished my book on 8.20.11 but I forgot to post about it. I read Spider's Bite by Jennifer Estep and I enjoyed it. I gave it 4 stars. I'm interested in reading the next book in the series. There were some things that bothered me about the book but right now I can't think of what they are, if I remember I'll come back and edit this post. Other than that I thought the whole assassin/elemental feel to it was original and unique. I liked the world building involved.

Spider's Bite (Elemental Assassin, #1) by Jennifer Estep

Sandy (sandyc88) | 1204 comments I finished my second pick, A Storm of Swords (A Song of Ice and Fire, #3) by George R.R. Martin. I really love this series and I highly recommend it!

Alara (Gael) Yesterday I've finished "Hunted" by P.C. Cast. I picked it because it was the only book which I own (from rec. list). Even though I'm not a fan of House of Night series, the previous book was better than the others. So I continued the series and read 5th book. It wasn't good as I've expected. 3/5

Melissa ** | 544 comments I finished my book Bloodlines (Bloodlines, #1) by Richelle Mead.

Cathy Galloway | 590 comments Lady Allison St Vincent,
I started my third choice Darkfever today. I finished The Help this weekend and it was amazing! I have Blue-Eyed Devil checked out of the library but I don't know if I will fit it in this month. Thanks again for all the great recs this month!

That is my problem too, I wait to get them on sale and then pay cash for them while the credits build up! Eventually though, it all seems to balance out, but right now I have 6 or 7 credits and should get a couple more the end of the month. In fact, they may already be there! Time to go shopping! ;)

Thanks for he feedback Joyce! I think I will try it it in audio, got to use those audible credits before too many pile up! I tend to buy in spurts, and there hasn't been one in a while! =)

Shellbelle | 195 comments Finished Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead!!! I loved it and will def. be reading the rest of the series☺

Joyce (Eternity21) | 674 comments Finished
Soulless today 8/27/11. I give it 4 stars.

@MountainKat I really enjoyed the audiobook. It is very well done. The narrator really brings the different characters to life. I will probably listen to the next one if it is done by the same narrator.

KimKirt | 1638 comments Lethal,

Yep, I did enjoy it. I will probably only give it a 3 though (which is what I tend to give 85% of my books). I think I'll eventually read further in the series as it was cute.

~KarenH~ | 2355 comments I finished Up on the Housetop, my buddy read with Dee. It was just ok, not a waste of time, but nothing special either. Another case of a short story/novella that really needed to be 50-100 pages longer to flesh out the storyline and descriptions.

Thanks for all the great recs, Dee!

Daffodil (Daffodil--RIPCranberry) | 1045 comments Started my 4th pick this morning, One Day by David Nicholls.

Julie | 56 comments Finished my 3rd pick Runaway Mistress. Nice story. More emotional and the characters deeper than I expected. I'm glad this was a pick. Robyn Carr seems to know how to grip a reader from the beginning of her books and sustain the interest through to the ending.

~KarenH~ | 2355 comments I finished Rocky Mountain Heat today and I liked it, but I'm looking forward to reading the new version that is being released in a couple of months - I think it will really benefit from the expansion. I've had this on my TBR for 2 years or longer, so thanks for the nudge to read it, Dee!

Laura Williams | 144 comments I finished Vision in White. It wasn't my favorite Nora Roberts book but it was good. I gave it three stars.

I am also half way through Faking It. So far so good. :)

Pollyanna (Polly8) | 300 comments Hey Elke, I finished Changeless last night, I really enjoyed it, I gave it 4 stars because I think Soulless was slightly better but I have heard the 3rd book is really good and I have to get it now after the cliffhanger at the end of this book. Joyce, what did you think of the audio version of Soulless? I chose it to read for a challenge and hadn't even thought about listening instead even though I read about half my books that way!
