Thanks Marion. I too am interested in not only the classics.

I hope I am not completely mistaken but I had the notion this group was not entirely dedicated to Russian classics.
Thus, I wanted to introduce Sergej Lukianenko to you guys.
He is a Russian (of course) writer, most of his stuff is actually Fantasy or Science Fiction. His most famous Night Watch: A Novel series was turned into movies.
Of course he is not comparable to Dostoevsky or Tolstoy, but his works are gripping and interesting reads (if you like Science Fiction, that is).
So maybe some of you might like to check his stuff out : )
