I just started Under the Dome A Novel. I haven't read a Stephen King book in a very long time, but this one just sounded interesting. So far, it's got me hooked!
Of Bees and Mist - Erick Setiawen, it was Times offer for £2.99 and so far it's looking good - has anyone read it?
Elhara, I just got The Penny Pinchers Club from the library yesterday! I'll be anxious to see if you enjoy it!!
I'm reading 2 which is unusual for me but I have od-ed at the library and need to read a ton.
The Lumby Lines & The Penny Pinchers Club
I've started reading Syrie James's The Secret Diaries of Charlotte Brontë; been meaning to get a hold of this book for some time now xD

Sally, I agree, The Help is one of my 5-star favorites! I did not want the story to end because I felt very connected to the characters.
I decided over Christmas to read books that have been on my TBR list for a while. Right now I'm reading Eve Green A Novel.
I've decided that I'm going to read Tropic of Cancer before Christmas if it kills me. More than likely, I'll die of sheer embarrassment. I'll have to keep track of how many times the book makes me blush. My goodness! The language Miller uses!
Jamie wrote: "I'm just starting The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane!"Loved that book this summer! Hope you enjoy it! :)

I *loved* the Day the Falls Stood Still. I am so glad to hear you are enjoying it too!

I loved Wicked Lovely!
I started reading Steve Berry's The Paris Vendetta A Novel yesterday and now that I'm done reading Hislop's novel, I can focus reading it =D

Glad to hear you're enjoying it. I got it from the library this weekend along with six other books. I'll start that after I finish "The Help" which is fabulous, by the way.
Cindy wrote: "Jamie, I really liked that one! Hope you enjoy it too!"Thanks! I've heard good things about it!
I'm currently reading Bernhard Schlink's Homecoming. It's an odd book--in places I find myself just skimming it and being impatient to get on with the story--especially where the story-within-the-story comes in, and in other places I am so absorbed I can hardly put it down. I think it may have something to do with the translator... I really liked the wording of The Reader, although I have no proof, I'm sure I'd be more enamored with this one had it been translated by the same person.
Okay now I am starting The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins! Have heard so much about this one, I had to get it!!!
I am reading Dark Lover by J R Ward........ didn't think that I would like it, but gave it a shot anyway.,..... I read half of it last night!
I am reading Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick! It's a YA book and I can not put it down!!! Half way done and its only been less than a day!!!
Kristie Faye, Glad you are enjoying a 'won' book! Makes it even better huh?and
Hollie...36 years is a long time to come up with idea after idea for new books!
I am reading The Murderer's Daughters
I won it for First Reads and got it this week. I picked it up last night and am completely captured by the story.....
Cindy, I own 79 of her books and I think I have every one she's written. That's a lot of books for one author huh? Her first book came out in 1973 though so I guess that's not a lot considering its been 36 years now.
I've started reading Victoria Hislop's The Island. I enjoyed reading The Return and I don't know much about modern Greek history so it should be interesting =)
Just about to start reading "The Tombs of Atuan" by Ursula Le Guin. It's the 2nd in the Earthsea Cycle - hope I like it as much as the 1st!
Beth...that one is on my TBR list; glad to see you're enjoying it! I've heard that it is great! Oh Holli...that one does sound good! I still have to read Sisters, and I think you said that was a good one too. Don't you wish you could write like her? Geez, how many books has she written anyway...bunches!!
Katie, I can't wait to see Sherlock Holmes on Christmas Day!!!
I'm reading Southern Lights A Novel and really liking the start to this one. I've read every Danielle Steel novel she's written and this one seems to be more like how she used to write. I think she's decided to step up her game again!
Hi all...I just started reading Kissing Frogs in Cyberspace by Dianne Sweeney...and I can't put it down. It is hysterical. I am also trying to finish up Into the Woods....I just can't get into it. Anyone else reading these?
Karla wrote: "Just started Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult. Not that far in it yet but its off to a good start. My first Picoult book actually, always wanted to read something she has wrote."HI Karla, Nineteen Minutes is going to be my first Jodi Picoult. Glad to hear its good so far!
The Missing Rose. It has very very plain language, a simple scripture and a framework that is far from being bright. But since the critiques so far have claimed it to be a modern day fable (although I haven't noticed any talking animals or even objects for that matter); I believe my view of the book could be misleading for the group.
I'm reading The Sign of Four to get ready for the new Sherlock Holmes movie coming out! I didn't know Sherlock was such a cocaine-addict! Learn something new everyday...
Just received How Starbucks saved my life from a friend for Christmas. I am starting it later today.
Carrie
I just finished reading Daniel Silva's The Secret Servant but I'm still reading Futaru Yamada's The Kouga Ninja Scrolls at the recommendation of my brother xD

I think they are trying to tell me something! LOL... they make comments all the time when I come in with new books.... and when I said that I need more book cases when I have 5 that are full already....and when they were looking for something in my bag I take to work and had to move 4 books before they could see anything. This way they don't have to look at them or see them....lol
