I wept away on this book, too. I was a little ashamed to be crying so much about knitting but I am a sucker for friendship and family stories. There are worse things.

Nophoto-f-25x33 Harry Potter Half Blood - death of Dumbledore bawl
Harry Potter Hallows - HEDWIG!!!! DOBBY!!!! FRED!!!bawl
LUPIN, TONKS!!!!!!!! bawl

Exodus - end of book when Karen died. Sobbed like a child (and I was only 12 at the time so I guess I was a child).

Death be Not Proud -- God what a sad sad story and the worse for being true. Brave kid though.

From Dead to Worse (oddly enough) Bill's soliloquy near the end and when Eric looked at Clancy.

1834690 I don't know what's been up with me lately but the last 3 books I've read have made me cry. They were The Memory Keeper's Daughter, The Last Lecture, and The Bonesetter's Daughter. I am just starting another book and if this one makes me cry, I may be in trouble!

Oh, P.S., I ALWAYS cry whenever a beloved or heroic animal dies, ALWAYS.

1376766 Everyone please remember to mark spoilers for those people who haven't read the books you're talking about, popular as they may be.
:)

Nophoto-f-25x33 pretty much anything by Nicholas Sparks

2524666 One book that really made me cry was Beach Music -Pat Conroy. My sister had just been diagnosed with leukemia and has since lost her battle. This book touched so many things that were going on in my life at that time.

It is a wonderful book about family relationships. It had funny moments in it also, especially the character's brothers and mother.

2410221 I'm just really emotional I guess, because if I don't cry at some point in a movie or a book... well there is something wrong with that movie or book. I will cry when something is happy and moving, or sad, or sometimes shocking.

Notably, though, Harry Potter makes me cry lol.

yeah Jessie, I understand how you feel about the end of Harry Potter. But please mark your thread with spoilers in case there are people that haven't read these books! Don't wanna ruin it for them :)
