Hi Cecilia, Jenn P's BFF! Great to have you here and look forward to talking SYTYCD and other stuff with you! :-)
Wow! I feel so welcomed! Thanks!
Jenn AY, this was totally the strongest start to a season they've had yet on SYTYCD, yeah? Most seasons you can totally pinpoint who's going home first in the top 20, but I thought the couple who got sent home had done a really good job, especially Paris.
Thanks for the shout-out, Jenn!
Just wanted to give a shout out (what!what! oh I am so half white) to my BFF Cecelia who finally joined! Woo Hoo! I have only been telling her about you all for months!
Jenn AY she is a SYTYCD super fan too!

Thanks! I am staying home for the first couple of years, but going to school at night to keep me from going crazy. She isn't sleeping through the night yet, but she only wakes up once between midnight and six.
Trista, Happy 1st Mother's Day! Congratulations as well! Hope you are enjoying motherhood. Are you staying home or working? Is the baby sleeping through the night?

I had my first baby March 14th! Is this your first baby?

No Trista, I live in the UK and we celebrate Mother's Day in March. Which is why I said I had a great day. I had my kids in February, June and July.

Wishing a very Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers in the group! Hope your kids and your spouses spoil you! :-)
I like Harlan Coben. Have you guys read any Alex Kava? I enjoyed his books, too. Though I haven't read many crime books in the last couple years. I used ro read them a lot. And a lot of romantic suspense by Linda Howard, Kay Hooper, Iris Johansen, and Tami Hoag.Fiona, I was surprised when I read your list of fave crime/thriller writers that it included Stephenie Meyer. My first reaction was, "What?! I didn't know she wrote crime?!" LOL!! Then, I realised that you just listed her as one of your fave authors along with your fave crime writers. (Hey! I wasn't quite awake! :-)) Stephenie Meyer is one of my fave authors.
We have quite a few favorite authors in common - I think I've read all of Jeffery Deaver, James Patterson, Michael Connelly's and Jonathan Kellermans books. I'll have to look up a few of the other authors. That is what I love about Cyber - there are lots of good reading suggestions given here! Again, welcome!
Here are a few:
Patricia Cornwell
Jeffery Deaver
James Patterson
Tess Gerritsen
Kathy Reichs
Karin Slaughter
Stephenie Meyer
Harlan Coben
Michael Connelly
John Grisham
Jonathan Kellerman
Faye Kellerman
Sam Bourne
Hiya all, I am Fiona, I love Crime & Thriller novels. I will read almost anything as long as it grabs my attention enough. I live in the UK,I'm married with 3 kids aged 12, 12 and 10.
Chat to you all soon xx
Cyberfriends,
Shortly, my friend Rachel will be joining Cyber (not sure what screenname she will choose), I sent her the link today. Rachel is a very good friend of myself and Jess. I have raved all about this club and she is super excited to join. Just wanted to give a heads up.
Welcome Trina! Thanks for joining and please, it would be wonderful if you joined in on our discussions! We love all new opinions and I can't wait to talk books, or anything else, with you. :)
Welcome Trina! You have found a wonderful place! Look forward to your being a part of it!Welcome to any other new members as well!
And of course a great big HAPPY Friday to the rest of y'all!!
Also, I take this opportunity to welcome anyone new to Cyber! Hi All! :-) And to participating members, hope your week is going well and the weekend will be here soon! Woohoo!! :-D
Yes, I do love exclamation marks! LOL It's not that I like to scream, just an indication of my excitement/enthusiasm. I'm especially happy as it's Friday night for me. Yay! :-) And this week at work had been rather exhausting and frustrating.
Hi Trina! Welcome to Cyber! :-)Yeah, of course you can introduce yourself here. I'm Jayne, one of the moderators here. I live in Australia, thus, it's only 9.30pm on a Friday here for me. If you are in the States, it would be the wee hours of the morning for you.
No worries about not necessarily being able to read the books of the month. Heck! I've only read a few. :-) But please feel free to join in discussions of any of the other books/TV shows/movie talk etc., or if you see some books that other members have read/are reading and want to discuss, please do start a thread. This goes to all the members.
Hope you enjoy it here! :-)
Ermm...
I'm not sure if this is where i'm supposed to introduce myself or not.... Well if i'm off, or did it wrong, just let me know.
Anyways....
My name is Petrina. You can call me Trina or Sarge or whatever floats your fancy. I'm a college student, currently attending one of the California state universities. And, as you have probably surmised, I am in the Army. I love to read. In fact, with me, love might be a bit of an understatement. I can't gaurentee that i'll read the group books due to financial reasons, but I shall try my best. Otherwise i'll just make myself a nussiance in the discussions. :)
Hi everyone,I just discovered goodreads a few weeks ago and can't wait to find great books that I would not have come across on my own.
Looking forward to participating in the February book discussion.
WISHING EVERYONE A HAPPY, HEALTHY AND SAFE NEW YEAR'S 2009!http://www.chromaluna.com/hotlinks/Firew...
Hi Julie,
We would love to have you and your finace (congrats!) up here in Washington! I love it here in Seattle except when it snows because snow seems to confuse a lot of people.
Hi Julie! Thanks. We enjoy having you in this group. That's great about your fiance coming back any day now (YAY!) and you do sound like you have a busy few months ahead of you. All the best with your wedding preps. I remember how stressful (and fun) a time it can be. Hope you find *some* time to read and come chat with us here! :-)
Hi to everyone, newbies and... um... oldbies? alike! I don't think I ever posted in here. Just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying this group. I will probably not be posting as much in the new year, because my fiance is returning from Afghanistan on the 31st! We are also getting married in May, so we have plenty to do for that, and we'll see how much time I find for reading!Anyway, thanks for all the laughs and the interesting discussions! This is a fantastic group.
Hi All - I'm another Jenn (there are a lot of us). I joined the group a few days before Christmas and have been getting caught up on all that has been going on. This group is so my speed and I am really looking forward to being part of it!
