Jennifer W | 895 comments Hello everyone!

It's time for nominations for July's group reads. If you haven't done this before, our rules can be found here: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/2...

Our theme for July is Superheroes! You may nominate 2 Young Adult books, one that is themed, and one that is not. Please label your books as themed and non-themed.

Please include authors' names when nominating. Authors may not nominate their own books!

Thanks!

I know!! Me too!!!

Julie S. | 54 comments I don't think that I've ever nominated a book before in this group, but here goes.

Non-themed: Story Time by Edward Bloor

I can't think of anything for the theme read. I know some superhero books, but as far as I can tell, they won't really fit. The Adventures of Captain Underpants is probably too young, and I would not call Watchmen a specifically YA book.

Emily I think either of those nominations would be good, but that's just my opinion because apparently battle royale wasn't really ya

Jennifer W | 895 comments Julie, if you want to nominate Captain Underpants, I think that's OK. I'd say Watchmen is probably too mature, though I'm sure lots of teens have read it since the movie came out.

I don't really know any superhero books, so I'll pass on that one.

Non-themed: Anastasia's Secret by Susanne Dunlap

I really want to read Capt Underpants :)

Julie S. | 54 comments Well, if it's ok with you guys, I will nominate Captain Underpants.
