Just wanted to add to the dicussion of A New Earth...I was sent this book to read and review and will admit upfront I wasn’t open to liking it, since I tend to think books Oprah chooses are to 'cute' and not meaty enough. But this book has enough seriousness to make it worth a read.

He puts the question of "Being" and describes the mechanisms in which our ego works and sabotage our true self.

I strongly recommend his book, to all those is search of a better life and self understanding Eckhart Tolle shows himself to be the quiet, focused master that he is in "A New Earth". I wore a pencil down underlining 'important' sections throughout the book. Then I ordered seven copies to give to friends and associates. It will remain a reference book for me whenever I need to choose between "peace and drama".

Thanks, Eckhart! I have no idea how a human being acquired such miraculous wisdom, but I am eternally grateful that you received it and give it.
