580431 Jenn, I got it in the mail yesterday! Do you want to borrow it after I finish reading it? I mean, if you're interested. :)

986586 Thanks for the offer! You are so great!

I want to hear what you thought of it first. I don't know if you remember but I did not just love the first one because it was harsh but I am thinking now that I know what to expect from his writing that I would like to continue the story.

1066511 I completely agree - the first one was harsh but there was enough to the characters, etc. that I still want to read book 2!

1066511 Has anyone in here read Let The Right One In yet? Supposed to be a vampire novel for the more serious set (as in, no sparkling).

580431 Sans tried to read it after we both saw the movie, but not sure if she finished it.

1451884 I did try and I did fail. ;_; It's not sparkly at all. Definitely more in the horror genre (though nowhere near The Strain). Gena read it in a few days and absolutely loved it. She said you find out a TON more info on Eli and exactly what she is (well, how vampires are different from other vamp books anyway).

I did like the movie. Does that help? ^o^

1537498 House Rules

I came across it the other day at Target. It sounds good.

1066511 *lol* I guess it sounds good if you're not me. :D I like my sparkly happy endings. Not that I refuse to read anything else, but I doubt I'd pick it up and go "ohhh, yay!" :D But I hope that you enjoy it!

I think I'm going to borrow Let the Right One In and give it a shot.

2484776 Has anyone seen the book Incarceron by Catherine Fisher?
It sounds like a Mix of The Forest Of Hands and teeth ,Hunger Games & Catching Fire.

580431 I have not seen the book, but thanks for the suggestion! Looks like it's a UK book that is being reissued in the States in Jan '10?
