Regina (ReginaR) I have Powerless and plan to read it this month, have you read it yet? Looks like it took you a long time to make this list!

Ottilie (ottilie_weber) | 436 comments I am currently reading Powerless and like what I've read so far in the first few chapters.

Wendy F (blessedwannab) Jason Lett's is a member of my YA for Adults group here on Goodreads. I haven't read it yet, but I have all his books. (bought on faith, since I've chatted with him and he's a nice guy). I've heard good things about them, just haven't started them yet.

Actually I didn't even start it until after 11:30. First I had to go through all my books and create my new shelves, lol. I now have a 'Kindle' shelf and a 'Lendable' shelf. THAT took a long time.

message 5: by Leea (new)

Leea Wow that's cool Wendy! I did not know you had a Kindle :)

message 6: by Regina (new)

Regina (ReginaR) I just started my thread. :)

message 7: by Wendy F (new)

Wendy F (blessedwannab) I love my Kindle! I have a ton of smut books too, that are probably lendable. I just don't list those on Goodreads. (I feel like it's advertising my sex toy drawer, lmfao.)

Leea, do you have a kindle? Or a Nook?

Regina, I'm going to peek now!

message 8: by Regina (new)

Regina (ReginaR) LOL Wendy I am the SAME way! I have tons of smut on both Kindle and Nook but I don't list any of it bc I know people in real life who are my GR friends (many are parents of my kids' friends, lol) -- so if you want smut ask me what I got. That is hilarious that we both do the same thing.

And yes, it is all lendable. ;)

Wendy F (blessedwannab) I'm loving Selena Kitt right now. Do you have any of hers?

I list PsyCop because it's racy, but I dont' consider it straight smut, lol. Same with Backstage Pass.

I joined the kindle smut group but I'm toying with quitting it. I just don't think I can handle another group and I hate seeing those little red (1 new) thingies after the threads on my homepage.

message 10: by Regina (new)

Regina (ReginaR) You can change the settings so that your posts in groups don't show up on your feed -- that is what I do and if you want it to show up in your feed, you just check the box on the bottom.

I do list Psycops and books like that, but not straight porn -- like Dark Elves or the other stuff we talk about on the erotica thread.

message 11: by Wendy F (new)

Wendy F (blessedwannab) Damn wallet be lost/stollen... I can't buy any Amazon books because I had to cancel my credit card. Dark Elves looks good.

message 12: by Regina (new)

Regina (ReginaR) I have them all -- check on amazon if they are lendabe, if so let me know and I will email the first to you.

message 13: by Regina (new)

Regina (ReginaR) All the smut I list in the two erotica threads we have in this forum, I have on my Kindle and can lend.

message 14: by Wendy F (new)

Wendy F (blessedwannab) It is lendable, but let me read the Lisa Kleypas book first, since I only have 14 days.

message 15: by Regina (new)

Regina (ReginaR) Okay! I will likely never have anyone else to lend my smut to, so ask away (since I don't post it and I don't tell anyone I have them). I will likely want psycops 3 in a few days, but I will email you. I am feeling the need for a Vic fix.

message 16: by Wendy F (new)

Wendy F (blessedwannab) Yep, just email me. Body & Soul was a pretty good one. I'm eager to read 4.

Nook honey!!

message 18: by Wendy F (new)

Wendy F (blessedwannab) I thought I remember you saying you went with the Nook.

message 19: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (JeSicca) | 5 comments Hello all!!

Does anyone have a Nook and are open to lending? I would love to share as well. I don't really have much from this genre and am itching to read these books you have all listed! My email address is

message 20: by Lori McD (new)

Lori McD (LoriMcD) | 139 comments Ha! Are you all creating your own threads with lendable Kindle books? If so, I'll start one, too.

I have my own set of "racy" books... I created an alter ego at Goodreads, so I could list and rate those books, just not so anyone who knows me would know it's me - LOL! Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that way...

message 21: by Wendy F (new)

Wendy F (blessedwannab) My list is so outdated, lol. I don't even know what is lendable or not. It's hard to keep track of because it changes.

Jen (sitting, waiting, wishing) (JenPrice) Why would they suddenly become unable to be loaned?

message 23: by Regina (new)

Regina (ReginaR) Publisher contracts.

message 24: by Wendy F (new)

Wendy F (blessedwannab) Yep, what Regina said. It's up to the Publisher and their contracts if Amazon can add them to the loanable list.

Jen (sitting, waiting, wishing) (JenPrice) Oh. Poop. That's no fun.

message 26: by Wendy F (new)

Wendy F (blessedwannab) lol, pretty much.

message 27: by Lori McD (new)

Lori McD (LoriMcD) | 139 comments Yep, it kinda sucks that the publishers determine this. But many freebie Kindle books are self-published, meaning that they are lendable.

I have a boatload of lendable books, including cookbooks. I'll try to start a thread for my lendables, but it'll take awhile - LOL! I'll have to double-check Amazon for what's lendable and what's not.
