Joy H. (JoyofGlensFalls) | 15470 comments Yes, Nina, it was a wonderful idea to group the poems into categories related to a woman's transitions during a lifetime, "including falling in love, breaking up, marriage, work, death, and growing up and growing old."

The Amazon product description says:
======================================================
"Kennedy has divided the collection into sections that signify to her the most notable milestones, passages, and universal experiences in a woman's life, and she begins each of these sections with an introduction in which she explores and celebrates the most important elements of life's journey."

Caroline Kennedy talks about poems which have inspired her "as a daughter, a woman and a wife. She groups the poems into several categories, including falling in love, breaking up, marriage, work, death, and growing up and growing old. 'I think those are times of transition in life,' Kennedy tells NPR's Neal Conan."

Joy H. (JoyofGlensFalls) | 15470 comments I am starting this thread to list links which take us to book discussions which take place on the radio and can be accessed by your computer's audio player. I'm not sure the links will always be kept up to date but we can try and find out.
