ooooh, I LOVE Homer's Odyssey! I studied Ancient History at OSU, must have read that 3 or 4 times in depth. I'd read it again.

724645 I suggest Copper Sun. It's a recent award winner and it has so much to discuss.

btw, Boy in Striped Pajamas is interesting but most agree after reading it that, that it's better suited to a younger age. It'a more a fable than historic fiction.
