Was that good? I've read part of her A-List series and the Talent series and loved them.

I really liked it. I haven't read any of the A List books, so I can't compare it, but I'd definitely recommend it if you are looking for a quick (but interesting and witty) summer read.

I loved it! I'll have to come check out the buddy read thread and jump in with ya'lls discussion.

Stephanie, I friended you, I hope you don't mind... I wanted to troll your books and see if we had similar tastes!

Well at least you get to get some reading in for school even if it isn't reading for fun. I was an engineering major so the books I had were never any good for reading material. Now that I am out of school though. I am back into a reading frenzy.

Water for Elephants was really good! It's a super quick read and it was really entertaining. I wished there had been a little more back story, because I walked away feeling as though I didn't know that much about the characters, but I read it with a book club and everyone liked it.

What'd you think of Miss Peregrine's?

Meagan | 48 comments Zakiya wrote: "What'd you think of Miss Peregrine's?"

Sorry for such a late response, but I loved it! At first I was a little skeptical because the plot does have a lot of fantasy, but I got into it really quickly and flew through it. I think he's writing a second book and I can't wait to read it!

Meagan | 48 comments Zakiya wrote: "What'd you think of Wintergirls?"

I liked it, I thought she did a really good job of tackling such a tough topic. The writing style didn't do much for me, though.

I've read the four that he wrote by himself. I LOVE all his work. He is the only author whose work I swoon over lol :)

Meagan | 48 comments I liked Paper Towns, but I didn't like it as much as the other three. LFA is probably my favorite followed by TFiOS, and the AAoK.

Mar (Margot-Livingtoreadfantasy) | 31 comments My fav is TFIOS, hands down. It's followed by LFA, then AAoK, then PT. Although all of them were rated 5 stars by me. PT is amazing since I and Margo almost have the same name xD

Meagan | 48 comments I feel like I read PT too fast. I sped through it in one night, and I feel like if I'd taken it slower I would have liked it more. I still really enjoyed it, but it's definitely 4th for me.

Yeah, Paper Towns just wasn't as great for me. I'm not really sure, though, if it was better or "worse" than LFA. My favorite is TFIOS, followed by AAoK for sure. The latter had me laughing pretty hard :)
