2864764 I discovered a whole new selection of free e-audio books at the library, so I am rereading, or listening to actually, The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley. It's one of my favorites.

2961482 Silas House most recent book, Eli the Good is listed as YA. I didn't even know it was listed as such until I'd finished it and really wouldn't have known. Silas is one of the best writers today and I'm trying to let more folks know about him. At the book discussion for Eli the Good lastnight several felt it should be required reading for high-schoolers. Wonderful book-0you won't be disappointed.

2277741 I'm reading an ARC of Chelsea M. Campbell's THE RISE OF RENEGADE X coming out in May 2010. We share the same agent (and the same publisher, actually) and I've been wanting to read this ever since her deal was first announced in the trades. A totally fresh take on superheroes (and supervillains) with a boy protagonist. I haven't read many boy protags this year, so it's a refreshing change. (And I'm loving Damien's dark wit.)Chelsea CampbellThe Rise of Renegade X

2443993 Hello :) I was hoping there was a group for adults who love YA books! I am currently reading Catching Fire (Hunger Games, #2) - I love it.

2173663 I put #2 Morganville Vamps on hold to read my group book, The Naming by Alison Croggon. I am liking it so far, but I am only about 50 pages in, so I have high hopes for loving it. I have heard really good things about it :D.

Heidi - I am curious to see what you think about Catching Fire! I still need to read Hunger Games. But I have heard nothing but good things about both books!

Beautiful Creatures sounds great. You have to read Catching Fire - it is as good as the first, if not better. I have about 50 pages left and can't put it down!

1763235 I had to exercise total restraint not to dive into catching fire right away! But I feel like I have a huge delicious treat waiting for me! And I really wanted to read BC because we are at same publisher

2443993 I also just finished The Book Thief. It was the best book I have read in a LONG time. I was emersed in the characters world.

2431264 I'm reading "Fragile Eternity" by Melissa Marr. I really really love this series. I'm not sure if it's just me or is it hard for authors to keep up the excitement and newness of the first novel? This is not so for Melissa Marr...she has an amazing style of writing that just keeps you in her world of fantasy. I highly reccomend reading this series. It's beautifully written. ;)
