Reading the book actually turned me off seeing the movie. I just didn't really understand why people thought it was so fantastic. Maybe I'm just too cynical :)

Thanks! I've read so many that I love but it's hard to recommend books when I don't know what people's tastes are. If I knew what kind of genre you like, I could probably come up with recommendations. :)
