Well in case anyone is interested, the Nephilim were creatures that were first mentioned in Gensis Ch 6 as the Children of Fallen Angels and Human Women.Basically, Hell Spawn.They're the Children of Demons.People have many different ideas about what the name Nephilim actually means, although the 2 most widely acepted is that one translation means "Those who came from the Sky" but the more original means "Destroyers" or something like that, that they would cause anything to fall and be destroyed.Nephilim Myths and Legends exist all over the World in every Culture,everytime you hear about creatures that were either Giants or half-human and half something else those are Nephilim, in Greek Mythology they're called the Titans.Because in both the Bible and Greek Mythos they are Giants.Any creature that is mixed with Demonic or Divine beings is a Nephilim, it doesnt matter if it's half human mixed in with an Elf or Fairy or Angel, they're all different species of the same race.Any questions?

I was fascinated to hear that the Nephilim were actually a reference from the bible. I worked with Renee Pawlish while in Denver and she's an incredible writer - always doing impeccable research. I also know she's got Christian roots, so this made the story even more incredible. I'm about 2/3rds of the way through and can't put the book down!
