Still reading The Coral Thief, good but a bit slow, and starting The Code of the Woosters for something light and funny.
Where can I find the Best Books List? Is everyone operating off of one particular list? Thank you for your help.
I was going to start Death of a Dustman by M.C. Beaton, but I received The Help by Kathryn Stockett from my daughter for Christmas, so I will have to decide later today.
Am currently reading Syrie James's The Secret Diaries of Charlotte Brontë; been eyeing this book for a long time, I'm glad I finally got a hold of a copy =)
I just finished reading Hislop's The Island so I'm now focusing on reading Steve Berry's The Paris Vendetta A Novel. I'm about halfway through and it's pretty intriguing =D
Thanks for the info Marian. I also don't enjoy reading books with profanity. I'm taking "The Help" off my to-read list. There are too many books I will enjoy to spend my time on something I won't!
I purchased "The Help" a few months ago but haven't begun to read it. I was turned off by the profanity in the book after reading just the first chapter. Looking for good books with drama and no profanity. Any recommendations?
Excellent so far, I've never read anything by Wilde that I didn't like. I even visited his gravestone when I studied abroad in Paris to pay my respects. There is a huge almost Egyptian like scuplture over it that was covered with hundreds of lipstick kisses! I guess that's a tradition his fans to do.
American Psycho, Gone With the Wind, A Picture of Dorian Gray, and Going Rogue. I can't wait to re-read a Christmas Carol!

Galya, 4th book was a spin off. Tally only appears in it as a spare in the sense of not the main character.

The Uglies series are great, although I do have to say he kind of lost it in the fourth book.
Lol Kathy. I have also just finished Pretties. Wow, what a book. Had me stuck to it over the past 48hrs. This is a great 2nd book for this series. Shows you how Tally and the gang start thinking for themselves and all the trouble they get into lol. Can't wait to see what happens next in the next installment.
I would say 8/10 again for me.
Now I am going to read Megan's Way

Yea, the hunchback is hard. I started reading it but had to return it to the library. I hate their due date systems.
I'm reading Chalice by Robin McKinley. I'm really enjoyed it. I'm also listening to The Hunchback of Notre-Dame. I'm having a bit of trouble getting into it, but I keep trying.
Just started The Stupidest Angel A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror, Version 2.0 by Christopher Moore.
I will be done reading Rant by the end of the work day. I thus will start Zipporah Wife of Moses on my ride home.
Leonor wrote: "i'm reading Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater"Lenor, I love this book! It was one of my favorite of the year. I hope you enjoy it as much.
The Family: The Secret Fundamentalism at the Heart of American Power by Jeff Sharlett. A book about "evangelico-fascism" (quote from an Amazon reviw).
I am onto Ilium by Dan Simmons..a tale from three perspectives and barring one with a lot of scientific jargon the others seem very engaging. The pace of the novel is commendable too...am into 480 odd pages and till now a very good read.
