ɐzzıɹʞ ɐzzıɹʞ Wow. that's a long list...

Nicolle | 343 comments Mod
Yep, 100 books, but it only takes a couple of mins to scan down it and see which ones you've read.

ɐzzıɹʞ ɐzzıɹʞ yeah. i've read like just 10 books from that list..

Cia (Chairmanmeow222) yeah same... this is gonna take me for ages

Nicolle | 343 comments Mod
I though this list would be good as it contains lots of different books. From classics to YA and thrillers!

Keara Christine (kearachristine) What if we've already read quite a bit of these...?

Stray (strayme) we can only read it in 2010? what if we have already read some of those?

ɐzzıɹʞ ɐzzıɹʞ it's okay if you already read some...the challenge is to read all the books in the list. right Nicolle? where's Nicolle...

Stray (strayme) okay then

Keara Christine (kearachristine) Yep.

Nicolle | 343 comments Mod

Nicolle...this is sooo cool!!!!!

Angie (Seren-Lucy) Whitcoulls (one of the chain book stores in NZ) has a similar list. They also have a Children's Top 50, I think. They have a website if you are interested in comparing. Can't wait to check which ones I've read!

Nicolle | 343 comments Mod
Sure lets have a look!

Here's the link to the website: http://www.whitcoulls.co.nz/top-100/

Angie (Seren-Lucy) As you will be able to see, books are VERY expensive in NZ!

Hey Nicolle....are we allowed to switch books out for books that we would actually want to read....there are a few that don't interest me, and I would like to switch some of my TBR list in for the ones that I really don't want to read on the list.....can we do that????

Angie (Seren-Lucy) I'm keen to take some out of the 100 Book Challenge list and add some from the Whitcoulls Top 100 list. A bit of a mix and match to suit my taste. Sound OK?

Nicolle | 343 comments Mod
Sure you can just say which you have switched.

sweet!! Now maybe my TBR list can start going down!!!

Jonathan (headspinningfromvagueness) I think it should be possible to actually set a challenge for the group right?

Nicolle | 343 comments Mod
What do you mean?

Jonathan (headspinningfromvagueness) I believe you can set it so that people actually set how many books they want to read like on this group for instance right here.

Nicolle | 343 comments Mod
Still not sure, can't find what you're on about. Do you mean just ask people how many they are going to read in a set amount of time?

Idan (idanalhadjri) Oh wow, those books encompass lots of genres. I have only read 19 so far.I think I'm going to switch a couple of books that aren't exactly my interest. For instance, Confession of A Shopaholic and The Bible.

Idan (idanalhadjri) I can't seem to update my entry on the book challenge progress but I have already set my shelf and added several books. Can someone help me? Thanks.

Louise | 51 comments Go into your review for each and check you've put in the 'finished reading' date. They'll only show up in your challenge progress for this year if the data says that's when you read them.

So I am making my next list of 100 books and I am going to use the books on this list that I have not read!! I have quite a bit of space so I still get to add more books that I need to read!!!

I went back through my list of books and did complete my challenge last year. I had forgotten to shelve the books I read from the challenge on the '100 books challenge'. I made a new shelf for 2014 challenge. Just need to stay organized! LOL
