I don't think either of these books have been released yet. I've only seen books sites with them as pre-orders still...I know sometimes you can find pre-release book covers, but I'm guessing not always.

i just added a new edition for The Adventures of Robin Hood. I added a page cover to the edition but it's not showing up. Does it take a while for these to show up?

i'm sorry, i hope i'm not being a bother, but i'm a little confused.

When i created the new edition of robin hood it was for an mp3 version. There was already an audio cassette version in the editions. Now there is just one entry for audiobook? Are all forms of audiobooks being listed as one entry? And are eisbn's being recorded anywhere? The isbn number that is listed for this recording is listed under isbn13 on the combined listing.

I also entered the narrator as a second author and labeled it as narrator and it his name isn't on the listing either.

The entry on netlibray for the book is below. The narrator was Dan Elsea.

The cover that is shown for the audio book is for a cassette version. The cover i tried to upload was a different one and is generic. I'm not sure why it didn't upload since the program said it found it on my computer. Anyway this is the image location on netlibrary - i tested the link and it does work.

Th MP3 and the audio cassette shared an ISBN, so yes, I combined them.

okay, so is it not possible to get the narrator on the listing? That is important information for an audiobook.

okay, so can someone explain to me the difference between isbn, isbn13 and eisbn? The cassette had the isbn of the mp3 listed in the isbn13 area. Are the ibsns interchangable for audiobooks?

I have no idea what the eisbn is. All books currently have both an ISBN-10 and and ISBN-13, which are convertible one to the other. Using a converter like this one.

So... i looked up my next audiobook and now i'm stuck again!

I'm going to listen to the MP3 of Naked Once More by Elizabeth Peters. The listing from netlibrary looks like this:

so all i have is an eisbn number...
there are two other audio book editions already listed for this book - one's a CD and one's cassette. Both different isbn's.

so... what do i do with this?

According to B&N, that is the item's ISBN. So I guess add it manually under that ISBN.

(You can do the same with the other one, actually.)

I have a book that needs a cover image and a lot more. There's an entry for isbn 9781436107242 that is set up without any real information on it.

I have a cover image - it's not like any of the others - i scanned it from the library copy i have here. I'm not sure how to get it to you though - what works the best for that?

If you go into edit book, on the right hand side it says upload picture. All you have to do is save that picture to your computer and then upload it on there :)

Mahdie, we can only use photographs of authors if permission has been granted (to Goodreads specifically or a general permission) or if the photographs are in the public domain. Does that apply for any of these photographs?

(This is unlike book cover art; permission to display book cover art is automatically granted to any book review.)
