I've never read The Travels of Jaimie McPheeters. Since a first edition has been on a bookshelf here for ages I really have no excuse so onto the to-read bookshelf it goes...
I loved One Hundred Years of Solitude, I hope you enjoy it Kim.
Such fantastic imagery, one of those books impossible to ever make into a movie.
I loved about 80% of War and Peace. There were some diatribes that just went on for FOREVER.I didn't really like Catcher in the Rye...but I think that's because I didn't connect with the character....the writing was fine.
As for my reading list...I have so many! But I just started one that has been on my shelf for years now. .. One Hundred Years of Solitude. I'm enjoying it so far, but I'm only 40 pages into it...so we'll see! =)
I've never read Tolstoy but I have always wanted to read "War and Peace" but so far I havent picked it up.
Ive seen various movie/TV versions of it and someone is always making reference to it or Tolstoy.
I have also never read (yet) "Catcher in the Rye"
Its seems some troubled person is always using this book as an excuse to commiting some horrible crime.
