I meant that the reader knows quite a few things Erec doesn't. The new cover really confuses me, but it's interesting, intriguing.
(Because he got a dragon eye in book 1 and 2, I suggested he'd get a third, which would do him no good)
So, if that's him, he gets dragon skin in addition to dragon eyes?

We're talking about the third installment, right? Because some of the stuff Denae mentioned happened in the second book.

I'd like to see Erec get a little smarter and a little more curious. Thus far, he's pretty much accepting things at face value. But, he is learning that things aren't always what they seem. He just doesn't take time to analyze what's happening around him and putting two and two together. Of course, that's typical of most 13 year old boys and that's part of what I like about Erec. He just needs to learn to use critical thinking skills.

Perhaps he'll finally discover some things the readers already know (or have guessed). Perhaps he will learn the Erec Rex everyone thinks he's impersonating is one of the princes that didn't die, and perhaps he'll find out he IS the prince, and that his mother is his birth mother (my guess, the queen), and that he's really thirteen, and perhaps he'll visit all his old friends from earth who've forgotten he existed.
Perhaps he'll get another dragon eye (unlikely). So, maybe he'll get a dragon tooth?
From what I can set on the cover, it looks like he might meet some bees, either magical or normal. Those look sort of like his eyes on the cover, but not his face. Perhaps he meets a strange animal that also has dragon eyes?

I think that's a very good guess Ashley. That's what it sounds like from the little bit that describes the book. I can't wait until it comes out!

I think Erec will be doing some soul searching in this book. Trying to find out who exactly he is,where exactly he is from, and what exactly is his story/past. Because he still unclear of who he is.

Erec will search for something that deals with the truth?

Even though this book doesn't hit the shelves until October, I was just wondering if anyone had any expectations? Based on the subtitle, what do you think will happen in this book?
