226404 I'm just now completing Arnold Rampersad's biography of Ralph Ellison and moving on to another bio of Kahlil Gibran. Since I'm so heavy into biographies these days I think I may be getting ready to write one.

590899 I'm reading Gather Together In My Name by Tracy Price-Thompson. It's a page turner to me. Not finished yet, too many events happening (Family & Friends Graduation parties). I'm really enjoying it though.

But I have.. This Time For Good on my list, It was released in May.

I wanted to read the book that was made into a movie, But I can't remember the name.
The movie was on Lifetime and Allen Payne was in it. I loved the movie. She heart attack and went back down south to stay with the woman that raised her.

Do you know the titile of that by any chance?

1116558 I invite you all to read the 4 chapter sample of my September release, Home Wrecker.

How much would you pay and what would you be willing to do to get rid of your husband?

My character Lisette is paid by wives to ruin marriages. Some wives want out because they feel trapped, some want out strictly for money, while other wives don't want out at all. They just simply want to have something to hold over their man's head. Lisette walks it and talks it. She'll chew you up, spit you out and keep it moving. She absolutely understands the power she wields as a woman. If you've ever seen the movie Basic Instinct... she is my Sharon Stone. Check out the chapters when you get a chance.. and check amazon and read the reviews for some of my other novels.

Much appreciated and keep reading!!

202978 Hey, Dawnny...I'm sorry to say that I didn't enjoy either book by Ms. Green...Flirt was okay...but I just didn't enjoy her writing style...I thought This Time for Good was just AWFUL...especially for the starting book of a new series...I was very disappointed...I usually give an author 3 tries and then I usually won't pick up anymore books by that author...so, I still have her book Suddenly Single in my tbr pile...hopefully this one is better...otherwise...I doubt if I'll read anymore of her work.

987108 Caught in the Struggle: The Real Rikers Island
by C. Rene West

I'm almost finished...so far it's very interesting. But if anything, I'm in total shock. I just can't believe some of the things that CO's do on their jobs.
