I'm reading Shameless Hoodwives, the follow up to Desperate Hoodwives

i was trying to get into what we do for love, but put it down. i need to make a library run...quick!

I just finished "Better Than" by Leslie Esdaile, which I thoroughly enjoyed...and I'm now reading "Flirt" by Carmen Green...not sure how I feel about this book just yet...let you know once I finish...Happy Reading :-)

I'm just now completing Arnold Rampersad's biography of Ralph Ellison and moving on to another bio of Kahlil Gibran. Since I'm so heavy into biographies these days I think I may be getting ready to write one.

I'm reading Gather Together In My Name by Tracy Price-Thompson. It's a page turner to me. Not finished yet, too many events happening (Family & Friends Graduation parties). I'm really enjoying it though.

I haven't read Carmen in ages
But I have.. This Time For Good on my list, It was released in May.

I wanted to read the book that was made into a movie, But I can't remember the name.
The movie was on Lifetime and Allen Payne was in it. I loved the movie. She heart attack and went back down south to stay with the woman that raised her.

Do you know the titile of that by any chance?

I love Kahil Gibran. What is title and the author of that bio? I'd like to check it out myself.

Hey, Dawnny...I'm sorry to say that I didn't enjoy either book by Ms. Green...Flirt was okay...but I just didn't enjoy her writing style...I thought This Time for Good was just AWFUL...especially for the starting book of a new series...I was very disappointed...I usually give an author 3 tries and then I usually won't pick up anymore books by that author...so, I still have her book Suddenly Single in my tbr pile...hopefully this one is better...otherwise...I doubt if I'll read anymore of her work.

Nasbooks, I read that book a few years back. It was eye opening to say the least. Crazy!
