I know as a mom, wife, friend...the list goes on....that it can be easy to let the creative well inside of us run dry (or at least get low).

What inspires you? What helps you to refill that creativity (that sometimes gets drained like a sippy cup on newly changed sheets)? It could be big or little or unexpected things that help perhaps.

I would love to hear about your writer's life. When I taught 4th and 5th grade writing I would try to find examples of what a writer's life is like to share with them -- it inspires me (and I hope it inspired them too).

Thank you so much for sharing your writing and creativity with us. I always know I can only read your books on vacation -- because I know, once I start, I won't finish until it's done.
