215947 The scifi book club on goodreads is reading Ender's Game this month. It is one of my all time favorite books and am enjoying reading it again--my 6th read.

I also plan on reading The Skin I'm in by Sharon Flake.

108753 I'm reading book 2 in the Forensic Mystery series by Alane Ferguson- The Angel of Death. It's a really good series! The first book is The Christopher Killer.

83445 I'm reading a few books. The one I want to read most is Replay by Ken Grimwood. But I"ve been #2 on the library reserve list forever; I thought that I'd have it by now.

Oh, and Jamie, I loved Fahrenheit 451 when I read it years ago.

92370 I'm reading Just Ella right now. And so far enjoying the cinderella tale ;) I want to read Coraline by Gaiman, but I saw that it's already in the suggested readingfor July, so I might just wait and read it together ;) would be fun!

108753 I'm reading Ranger's Apprentice: the Battle for Skandia. I really like this series!

message 13: by Meghann (new)

1047106 I read Just Ella when I was in college for my YA Lit class. I love that book. Let me know what you think of it when you're done.

message 14: by Sylvia (new)

92370 Meghann, I finished Just Ella, and I like it. The author's imagination amazed me. I like it when Ella describes her plan to go to the ball. There's no fairy godmother helping her after all.

83445 Have read a few and will read a few more, but just started Before I Die by Jenny Downham.

message 16: by Danielle (new)

Nophoto-f-25x33 I'm finishing up 13 Reasons Why - which I really like. Next on my list are the Disreputable History and Elijah of Buxton. I'm also listening to Pretties - I got it from the library as soon as I finished Uglies. Even though I'm on my second audio book with the same reader I don't think I would really recommend it, most of her voices I don't care for too much. My next audio book is Feed.

message 17: by Diane (new)

108753 I'm reading Exodus by Julie Bertagna and enjoying it so far. I am also listening to Evil Genius by Catherine Jinks.

message 18: by Lisa (new)

83445 Kirsty, I guess Before I Die is worth reading. It was a really fast read for me. I've preferred other books in the same genre to this one. It's very British and very modern, which is sort of interesting. I'd say read it but I'm probably giving it just 3 stars, on the low side for me. I'll have to think about it more. A lot of readers here really love it so you might enjoy it more than I did. I am glad that I read it.

1174308 I am also reading...

The Temptress Four

by Gaby Triana

" Four best friends, one graduation cruise, a week of partying. It's supposed to be the best eight days of their lives. But when a fortune-teller predicts trouble the night before their trip, Fiona, Killian, Alma, and Yoli are left on edge, wondering what it could all mean.

Gaby Triana gets right to the heart of the that thrilling nerve-wracking, exhilarating, terrifying, amazing time that comes right after graduation, when the big question is: Where do we go from here?"

92370 Now I'm reading Kite Runner. I have put it aside for sometimes. Now I guess is the right time to start. I'm at chapter 4 now :) and loving it!

Still looking for June book. It's kind of hard to get in here. But I'll keep trying.

message 21: by Angie, YA lovin mod!! (new)

86285 I hope you get the book syl, my dad travels to Indonesia once a year and loves it there.

I did not get to read all the books I wanted for May so some are moved to June. I hope to get read all of them next month.

811687 Probably more juvenile than young adult, but I just read "Holes" yesterday. It was very entertaining.

message 23: by Catamorandi (new)

754081 I am reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass (they are in the same book). I know that this is more juvenile than young adult also, but I have always wanted to read it. I have never gotten around to it. I'm glad I am reading it now. It is interesting and quite entertaining.

message 24: by Sylvia (new)

92370 @Angie, Thanks! I'm sure I will find it somewhere *tic-toc-I'm running out of time* HUHU... Uh, maybe one day you'll be interested to go to Indonesia, too? ;)

@Sandi, Holes IS very entertaining. Maybe later you'd like to check out the sequel 'Small steps' and the companion 'Stanley Yelnats' survival guide to Camp Green Lake'.

message 25: by Sandi (new)

811687 My son wants "Small Steps" now. I may bribe him--he'll have to read 3 books off his unread books shelf to get it.
