That book was one of my favorites in the series. The main character is hot, and it opens the door for the entire Dark-Hunter series.

Yes, they ARE diffenetly a "supercouple". That is a great way at decribing them. I like it!! I too get obssessed when it comes to books/series that really get me fired up. LOL

Good luck, I just went through the Dark Hunter/Dream Hunter books. Pretty good.
i just finished
they both got 2 stars from me and for Another Faust, that was being generous! The only thing I liked about Another Faust (YA book) is that the life lesson is a good one--pretty much: you don't get something for nothing.
Wow been awhile since I've been out here again!:( i took some time off for the holidays! But boy if i dont' keep up out here it's hard to catch up :) Since I last posted I have read:

What is that series about? I don't think that I've heard of it.
And so it starts! I am so excited! I've now received my copy of Fantasy Lover by Sherrilyn Kenyon and am about to embark on the adventure I've been waiting for! I've heard many a good thing about this series and really hope to put a serious dent in the book list over the next few weeks!

"Supercouple" I like it!
You just gave me an idea shister mine. I'm going to list my top 5 or so supercouples. I'll compile a list for your review and consideration 2maro.
Have fun with you're playlist. Great idea. I bow down to you Huntress.

I would be upset too, but don't beat yourself over it. Maybe whoever got it for you can see if they can reissue it for you. I don't know it Chapters keeps records of who they sell gift card to. I'm reading Dead witch walking by Kim harrison for the 3rd times while i wait for the latest book to come out. Al has got to be my favorite character!
Thanks girls. I really wanted something special for the week I'm away. Damn it's so hard to choose. Audrey I have a soft spot for the midnight Breed series so it might win out and maybe a couple of the others will too.
On a sad, sad note I've spent the last 2 days looking for a Chapters gift card I received for x-mas. I can't find it anywhere. I think the recycling man took it away. In fact I'm pretty sure I threw out the equivalent of 3 books. Oh God... WHAT HAVE I DONE!

Yes, so true ... I can't wait to find out what happens with John and Xhex.
Yes, bring them all, but since I am currently reading the Midnight Breed series, I am leaning toward "Shades of Midnight".

Oooh, that sounds interesting, Alison.

He really is great. But for some reason he doesn’t appreciate me calling him J.M. I don't see the problem... he has blue eyes and dark hair. Men, they're so unreasonable some times.
I wanted to ask my GR shister's opinion on what I should bring on my vacation next week. Here are my options

I will miss you guys. *tears streaming down face*
aww, but it's only temporary. Lover Mine will be out sooooon-ish. Then the affair can continue.
Oh, what will we do after Lover Mine? Are there plans to continue after that?? Covet is good, but not a replacement for the brothers.

I totally agree ... ;) Onced I started them I couldn't stop until I had read them all. I was so sad when I finish the last one and now have to wait for the next one to come out. My love affair has temporarly had come to an end. :(

I have read the BDB series, too. I LOVE that series and can't wait until the next one comes out! I am still loving the Midnight Breed series and now that I know they get better and better .... I am all giddy to start the next one! LOL

You're right, this is the one with the fake werewolf. I didn't care for it either.
Actually, I've had more than one copy of most of the BDB books, but I give them away to a needy person (needy for some Brothers in their life). I do have two copies of Lover Awakened. I will probably get a paperback copy of Lover Avenged. Please don't encourage my book fetish, Amanda. LOL!
Michelle, I am loving the different werewolf stories in Wolfsbane. I can't get enough werewolf in my life. :)
Danielle "The Book Huntress" wrote: "Your husband totally rocks, Cyndi! I drool over that set even though I already own all the books!"
You mean you don't have mulitple copies of some books??
I like to collect first editions of Jude Deveraux's early romance novels. The late 80's and very early 90's yielded some awesome covers.
Michelle, I have only read Dead After Dark and another short story, but they were much better. Sookie was very one dimensional and I hated the premise of this story.
I'm reading
. I'm loving it overall, but I have no love for the Sookie Stackhouse story (nobody shoot me).

I had the same problem with that book. I still plan to give it another shot, but I had the hardest time getting into it. I developed a bit of an obsession with the city Carcassonne after doing a paper on a William Faulkner story called Carcassonne in college and that prompted me to buy the book.
I'm currently finishing up some audiobooks that I started but had to put aside to finish my December challenge reads. Almost done with

I read the first book of the series by Lara Adrian and just didnt like it. Definately dont like the fact that only males are "vampires/aliens"...and the characters didnot have much substance.
I just finished another awesome installment of the Riley Jensen Were-vamp series,
and I am starting
because I have to return it to the library. Of-course it is not on any of my challenge lists :-( but I am diving in anyways.

Yeah, it’s illegal and punishable by law in Canada not to read the entire BDB series. I’m not sure about the US but I think the UK carries out the death penalty.
Oh Heather listen to Chyndi and run... run as fast as you can.
