Gill looked around and sat up. He wondered where the others had gone, and walked down to the lake for a swim.

Savannah sat on top of a rock overlooking the lake enjoying the pleasant reflection it made.

Sophie sat near the lake, eating a hamburger. "ketchup," she thought to herself " was definatly mans greatest invention."

When Gill surfaced, he spotted Savannah sitting on a rock, watching the lake, and waved to her. Knowing how good her hearing was, he shouted "Hey Savannah!," and waved at her.

Cindy's head popped up among the waves, and she looked around. She spotted Savannah sitting on a rock, and Gill just a short swim away from her in the water. Looking harder, she spotted Sophie sitting and eating a hamburger on the shore. She decided that swimming was more fun than talking, so she swam away from shore a ways, then ducked under the waves to earch for shells.

"Hey," She simpered. "What's up."

Gill swam quickly to shore, so they weren't shouting out across the waves. When he reached her, he replied "Not much. I woke up, didn't see anyone, and decided to go for a swim. You?"

"Same," She sighed, "Just sitting here thinking about practically nothing."

Gill sighed, knowing exactly what she meant. They had been on the run for so long, and now, to know that they weren't being chased, he didn't know what to do with himself.

Savannah let out anohter sigh then looked up. "Where's Zeyphr?"

Gill shook his head, not knowing where she had gone. "Dunno. But knowing her, she flew off to somewhere, and is having a blast."

Savannah hissed, "Probably getting us found..."

Gill paused before answering her, having just noticed Cindy wheeling about in the air above their heads. "I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. Cindy's keeping watch." He pointed to Cindy, way up high. "Thoug if she's not careful, she may get hit by a plane."

Savannah's face brightened up and she laguhed. "Be careful up there, Cin."

Cindy heard, very faintly, Savannah's voice float up to her from the ground, and she nodded. Rmembering that Savannah probably couldnt see her, she said "You know me! I always am!" Then she went in to a steep dive, and plunged into the water, tucking in her wings at the last second.

"Ughn," A voice came from the rocks nearby. Fredric walked out from behind it, holding his head. "What happened? I think I rolled around while I was sleeping and knocked myself out on the rocks..."

Gill looked over at him. "Fredric, i dont think its possible to knock urself out while you're sleeping. Not much has happened, though."

Savannah was trying not to giggle. "Okay," Fredric smiled.

Harold woke up in the middle of the night, from a nightmare. He sat up, and thought I MUST get those mutant kids back. If I don't my job and reputation is lost.

((Wait, where are they?))

((umm, at the coast? how bout CA? its nice there? and they found a beach nobody knows about))

((Okay but...where are the white coats? In the lab or at their homes?))

((white coats are in the lab during the day, but spend time w/ their families (i know, *gasp* that they hv families).))

Cindy swam around underwater for as long as she could, then, her lungs bursting, she headed for the surface. I wish i could breathe underwater like Gill can. that would make it so i could swim down here for ages... When Cindy broke the surface, she noticed that the others seemed to be gathering on the shore. She swam down a ways, then swam to the surface, bursting out of the water with such power that she could stretch her wings without getting her wings wet. She soared into the air, and after checking to see that nobody was coming to visit them, she flew over and touched down on the shore where the others were.

Zephyr flew over the nearby pond where Gill was swimming moments before. Everyone seemed to be gathered in one spot. She circled above the pond like a buzzard seeing if she could see what was going on without going down there.

Cindy watched as Zephyer circled above, and poked Gill in the side, pointing upwards.

Gill looked up, and noticed Zephyer as well. Seeing her, he shouted "Hey Zephyer, we see you, so you might as well come down!"

"I'm guessing that there is some sort of meeting going on?" asked Zoe, stepping lightly around the rocks.

Gill looked over and nodded. "It wasn't planned, we just sort of wandered together."

"Oh." said Zoe, sitting down. "In that case, why don't we have a meeting anyway?"

Cindy piped up. "I was thinking the same thing Zoe." She looked at Gill, and he nodded.

Carol closed her hazel eyes, feeling the warm sun on her face. She opened one and spotted the others gathered together, huddled on the shore. She silently ran over and tapped Zoe on the shoulder. "What's going on?" she asked.

"We're debating weather to have a meeting." said Zoe

"A meeting?" Carol raised her eyebrows. "What for?"

"We don't know yet." said Zoe "But we're all here, so we could talk about what we're going to do next."

Cindy overheard their conversation. "For fun. Honestly though, I'm not sure. It's been really quiet recently, and I think the white coats may be planning something big."

Carol nodded. "Okay." She plopped onto the warm sand, letting it sift through her fingers. "Whitecoats? Maybe...it does seem more serene than usual, though."

"You really like to be warm." commented Zoe

"Yeah." Carol replied, laughing a little. "It's better than being freezing cold in the winter. Part reptile, remember?" She grinned, showing a flash of her pointy fangs.

"Are you saying you like to be cold?!" Cindy raised her eyebrows incredulously at Zoe.

"No, but it's not like I feel it much or anything." said Zoe. To Carol, she said "Sorry, it's really easy to forget sometimes."
