861743 What are your favorite of John Piper's books? I know, I know. All, right? But if you had to pick one, which would it be?
I've just started reading "When I Don't Desire God," and my family has been reading "Desiring God" for devotions for a while--they're both excellent. I haven't read any of his other books yet, though.

762136 Desiring God was an amazing book. Really refocused my thinking about God. I read it about the time I was beginning to learn reformed theology and it just drew me to God in a new way.

1578921 "Don't Waste Your Life" was an excellent read - I read it in a Bible study I was attending last year, and I bought myself a copy right after the course was over. It really hit me, I was at a point in my life where...well, life was taking over and I was losing focus on what really counted. It was kind of like a slap-in-the-face wake up call that got me back on track.

1549740 hello everyone! I have only read a few piper books. My favorite is A Godward Life: Savoring the Supremacy of God in All of Life I became a Calvinist after reading 'What we believe about the 5 points of Calvinism' off his church website. Piper said in one of his sermons 'If you want to buy a piper book just get one I say the same thing in every book'. Referring to 'God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him'.
Has anyone listened to his sermon Doing missions when dieing is gain? Great sermon!
