Nophoto-f-25x33 Ooh, don't give up on Slightly Dangerous. The story between Christine and Wulfric is wonderful. She is spunky. They have great chemistry. The dialog (banter) is fun to read. The entire story is a departure from the typical cookie cutter romance.

271691 Hmm, I'm new to this author and I was thinking of just going with the last book because it was the highest rated one but since readers, not only here on GR, seem to like the other books more than the 6th, I'll start at the beginning. I usually read a series in order anyway.

210123 Slightly Wicked is probably my favorite - Tina, you're the first person I hear liked it. Most people I've talked to, consider it one of the weakest of the bunch.

I didn't like Dangerous as much but that's probably because I loved Wulf and didn't like Christine one whit. Maybe it was because I was looking forward to the book so much but I found her to be so judgmental that I wanted to kill her with my own two hands. However, I'm going to re-read it to see if I feel differently.

I think it's important to read Tempted and Sinful in order because the stories are so intertwined. And I agree with you about A Summer to Remember which I actually consider one of her best books.

627337 I liked Slighly Wicked and Slightly Dangerous the best. The rest are a bit by the numbers, but these two seemed to stand out for me.

You do not need to read them in order, but it helps especially when you get to the last book. It almost seems as if all the previous books were leading up to Wulfric's book.

I also recommend A summer to Remember if for no other reason than it is the first introduction to the Bedwyns in all their glory.

210123 Isis_FG,

A Summer to Remember has a prequel as well "One Night to Love." It doesn't have to do much with the Slightly series but it's the catalyst for ASTR and it ties in with the next the Simply series (the hero from Simply book #4 was a secondary character in ONTL.)

946249 Honestly, on the whole, I wasn't a fan of the series. There were too many things that annoyed me to death.

I wrote reviews for all the books. They're kinda spoiler-y though.

939365 Which did you find the best of the lot Isis? Thanks for the info :)

message 3: by Isis FG (new)

946249 They're not really dependent on each other. You just miss some of the family dynamic if you read them out of order.

I read #6 first, then like a year later I'd finally found all the others. Ironically #6 is my least fav of all of them.

939365 Do you have to read them in order? Of course I only have book 6! (grrrrrrrr!)
