Thanks again BJ. I'll check those titles out. Shannon: Thanks for letting me know. Perhaps this is the challenge to get into then?
"Kenjii wrote: "BJ and Shannon: I'll take any suggestions you have on HR. I am open to anything."I forgot Elizabeth Thornton - she writes historical romantic-suspense, if that appeals to you more. Some of her 'royal' titles:
Princess Charming, Almost a Princess, The Perfect Princess, Shady Lady
Kenjii wrote: "BJ and Shannon: I'll take any suggestions you have on HR. I am open to anything."I've read very few HRs to tell you the truth. And what I could recommend doesn't fit with this challenge! : (
Kenjii wrote: "Gotta think of those PNR or even UF series that have LORD and LADY in the title[i.e Lords of the Underworld:]. That helps! When all else fails. I will try and use HR for the most part. A challenge ..."Linda Winstead Jones has a PNR trilogy that fits this challenge:
Prince of Fire, Prince of Magic, Prince of Swords
And the first book in Christine Feehan's Carpathians series fits: Dark Prince

Kenjii, here are some HR possibilities - most of these authors have LOT of other books, but I'm only listing those with royal title words in them:Julie Ann Long: [b:The Runaway Duke|907687|The Runaway Duke (Warner Forever)|Julie Anne Long|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1179355417s/907687.jpg|892826]

Johanna Lindsey: Once a Princess
Celeste Bradley has The Royal Four quartet about His Majesty's spies
Victoria Alexander had some with royal titles but I haven't kept any of those
Except for the last two authors, I've only listed the ones I've read and kept - Shannon will likely have many more.
And check out my list above - I think they're all HR
Gotta think of those PNR or even UF series that have LORD and LADY in the title[i.e Lords of the Underworld:]. That helps! When all else fails. I will try and use HR for the most part. A challenge is to challenge ME.
BJ and Shannon: I'll take any suggestions you have on HR. I am open to anything. I read one RS with a sheik in it, not impressed. LOL. Could have been the author. I have another "sheik" stashed somewhere I can put in this challenge since it can be used.
I've got 100's of Harlequin Romances of all different kinds to sort through. Some on shelves and I got 5 apple boxes full of the really old white cover ones. lol That's what I get for $1 bag, bag sales at the annual friends of the library sale. Wether they are any good or not is still in question. lol
Kenjii wrote: "I'm in[I want to try more HR:]...I'll list as I go as I have NO HR atm.0/10"
I'm with you on that. I haven't read a historical romance in forever. I've got enough sitting on my shelves though to participate, but there wasn't much to pick from!
Sounds like fun! I'll add to it as I go and maybe change some books but this is a list of possibilities:

Thanks Yz. I figured if Lord, Lady and Master would count, these would as well.
Kenjii wrote: "Sheik is more a title of honor given to the eldest male in the family. It literally means 'elder'. I am not sure how that translate in romance novels? "
Harlequin romances use Sheihk/Sheik as a desert title for Prince. Correct usage or not, that's what they use.
Kenjii wrote: "I'm in[I want to try more HR:]...I'll list as I go as I have NO HR atm."No Historical Romance books?! Oh, you poor thing!!

Kenjii,
Thanks for the explanation on the word "sheikh". That's added insight.
Jim,
Welcome to the challenge. However, this challenge does not start until Dec 1st. So no reading yet.
My reading is about to be curtailed for the next two months, but I'll give it a go anyhow. (go ahead and tell me I'm starting two weeks early. I joined too late to have a real go at the jungle challenge so this is my first quarterly.)1. Queen of Hearts by Paige Cuccaro (11/16)

Another royal title to include would be Sheihk. For some reason over the last few years royal desert romances have been popular with Harlequin.
Would a Scottish Highland Laird work? I've got alot of those, although not sure how many of the Laird's got into the title of the book.
Since I'm close to wrapping up three other challenges, I'm going to give this one a shot. Like several others, I'll just post as I go.
