It's Jan O'Cat's Birthday!!

I think it's great fun to wish our friends a Happy Birthday. It's especially fun to wish you a Happy Birthday, Jan, because for so long you have been the keeper of the birthday list. I hope your day is filled with nice surprises as well as traditional enjoyments, too. NJ
Happy Birthday Jan! I hate it that you are so busy that you don't have much time to play with us during the school year. But you are such an important part of those kids lives.
I hope you are surrounded today with family and friends, good music and food, good books, and the love of many friends who love you!!!

Thanks so much to all of you for remembering my birthday. I tuned in at exactly the right time when there were 17 greetings awaiting me. And I got the fun of realizing that Carol had gotten up really early in the morning just to start my thread. <smooch!>As Donna in Md alludes, my school year is so busy that there are many days when I don't even turn on the computer. It's lovely to find myself still remembered by all of my long-time M/T friends.
I had a nice day filled with large and small surprises. Someone at school had my birthday listed in the newspaper of the smalltown where I teach and then left the paper on my desk for me to find first thing this morning. We had the usual incredibly moving Veterans' Day program at our school. Lots of vets, young and old, always show up to be thanked and seranaded by the kids.
Cheryl, I LOVE the cat! Many furry head bumpings and ankle twinings to you!
And thanks again to all of my best reading friends. It was great to arrive home late and tired but full of anticipation for My Own Thread.

I love your math. It's even better than mine - I too am 56 this year and I am celebrating the 17th anniversary of my 39th birthday.

I am so late with my birthday wishes Jan but hope your day was a good one. A very Belated Happy Birthday. I love your math. I keep telling everyone I am going to subtract a year on my birthday instead of adding one but yours is a much better way.
