Crystal it's really exciting to be setting a goal so high. I think that I will probably happy with just reading 100, but 144 sounds attainable too.I know that there is not need to list my intended reads... but I figure that listing at least 50 books to start will give me something to pick from should I hit a "reading stalemate"

can I ask when you say theauthors worthy of a second chance-
are they the ones youy like and thus will read again
or
those you didn't like but think author has potential?
Afsana, they are authors that, although the book had merits, it may not have been their best work, and I want to give them a second look before deciding they are not worth the effort... For example, I always struggled with my love-hate relationship with Stephen King, and after reading Salems Lot and Duma Key I realised that there were just some works of his that did not appeal entirely to my personal tastes, but he is still a fabulous author.
