This is a fantasy I'm working on-- it doesn't have a title at the moment. It reminds me of Fablehaven a teeny bit just because it's in third person and stuff like that, but I don't think I can dream of it being anywhere near as good. But it's my favorite of my writing. This one is... (drumroll, please) ... a Fablehaven fanfiction! It has some romantic elements in it, and it's basically the story of Fablehaven from the unlikely perspective of Madeline Fisk. She's Dougan and Maddox's sister, and she's Warren's fiancee. This takes place before Book 1 and will carry out through the rest of the series. Thanks! I don't mind letting friends or total strangers see my writing. It's the family part I have an issue with. I've showed some of my writing to one of my sisters, but that's kinda where I draw the line. I want to be published someday, and I know I'll have to face that fear sometime, but... Haha.

I don't have writer's block, but I'm uber busy right now. I'm doing the school musical, Once Upon a Mattress, and I don't have a ton of free time now. But it will be better in the middle of next week when it's all over. Thank you so much, though! I'll write more as soon as I can.

Kay, you know that box on the right side (when you're on the "home" page) that has things like "profile", "groups", "inbox", and stuff like that? There's a link that says "writing". Click on it and it will have a list of writing you've done. When you get there, click on "add new writing" and then you can put up a story.

Your story is easy to read, but it lacks long sentences. (But it's okay.)
The begini\ning is not compelling, so maybe you should address the problem. I like it, mostly because I can't write anything better, and it has a good plot.

I know it is so much like Percy Jackson in the beginning! I actually had just read that series right before I started, so I think it leaked into it. :/ That's one reason I'm rewriting it later...

Well, the characters are freshmen in high school, so... fourteen? And I did skip a few days. Sometimes a week. but yeah... It is ind of fast. Oh yeah, and I am VERY sorry for the short chapters. I kind of stop writing when my family is home. O.o
