1852293 yep. i mean after all, that's only fair. :P
i gave my books "the speech" today, you know: "just because mommy brings home some new hardbacks doesnt mean she doesnt love you!"

2557563 Hahaha <3
I guess I'm just a *raises eyebrow* likable person, eehh?

Also tell your LOTRs that the Minotaur doesn't stop at one...
For once you read aloud to a book, instead of it reading aloud to you :)

message 187: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 that is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH!
out of the mouths of babes shall come the TRUTH, hahaha! my PJs really like you, jedi master shelby. i read your quote aloud and they jumped up and down so hard they fell off the bookshelf. my LOTRs started laughing, getting all snooty and stuff, but the PJs didnt care. :P

Yeah! Well wands don't protect you very well when you're dealing with the Minotaur who will charge at you before you can say "STUPEFY!"

2248397 yeps. we have a heck of a time just hanging out. lolz

message 184: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 hhahaha good for him!

2248397 it annoys the crap out of me! my mom asked him to send an email to the NBC Nightly News staion or watever, and my dad was like, "If they don't have time for me, I dont have time for them." lolz

message 182: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 hahaha :P

2248397 well, add that to the fact that apparently virginia never split into 2 states!!!!!! ugh!!!!! and when NBC did a thing on Route 50, they never stopped in WV!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (or so my dad told me. lolz)

message 180: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 yeah, hahaha. when i tell people im from california they're like OMG ARE YOU FROM LA???? HAVE YOU SEEN A MOVIE STAR??? ughhhh!

2248397 lolz. i've always lived in WV. when amy moved to CO last year, when she told people she was from WV, they were like, "oh, western Virginia? i have a friend/relative who lives in Roanoke/ Richmond" or whatever. it really annoys me when people say that.

message 178: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 cool! yeah we're history nerds in our family so we went through wheeling because of the wheeling convention in the Civil War. we've moved twice in my life, but we've always stayed in the SD area

message 177: by Rae*Ani/Isi* *RolePlay Addicted* (last edited 1 day ago, 11:34AM) (new)

2248397 i used to live in wheeling/moundsville. then i moved to the clarksburg area, then to mgtn, now im by marrietta, ohio on the WV side of the ohio river

message 176: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 we went through the appalachian pass and that brought us through WV, and then we went to wheeling and harper's ferry

2248397 lolz. what part?

message 174: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 ohhh cool! ive been there--is really beautiful!

2248397 yeps! WV is amazing like that! lol. tho we dont have as much as e did. its mostly melted by now

message 172: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 thats cool. i miss my family so much, cause im 3 states away. but im back now, hahha. do you live somewhere where you get snow for christmas?

2248397 the oldest goes to college 2 hours away- still in state, but its where my mom, uncle, g'ma, and g'pa on my mom's side went, so its not to bad.

message 170: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 cool! does she go to college closeby? ive got 2 younger brothers - my younger one is a senior in hs and my other one is a freshman in college this year and he's only about 2 1/2 hours away but im out of state. two nights ago my brother actually told me that he missed me. then he tried to get away and ended up falling down the stairs.

2248397 4 actually, my younger sis is 2 years younger, my bro is 2 years older, and my other sis is 6 years older.

message 168: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 hahahaha so there are 3 kids in your family?

2248397 i would've, but my older sis came home from college and took her bed back! and they are on the headboard! *cries* im so terrible!

message 166: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 hahahaha couldnt you hear them crying in the night, rae???? hahahaha

2248397 i should fix my set up, i have twilight and PA on one side, completely away from the other no series books! im so mean!

message 164: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 hahaha but maybe other YA books will stand up for it. my fantasy books kinda hang out together :P

2248397 its so sad! Princess Academy gets picked on because it doesn't even HAVE another book in the series!

message 162: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 hahahhaa. my Twilights are friends with my Mortal Instruments and PJ&HP are best friends (but also rivals) and LOTR is friends with Narnia and Chronicles of Prydain, but all the series book gang up on the non-series books. I'm thinking about putting my General Fiction books on another shelf, because they keep telling dirty jokes to my series books and making them cry.

2248397 lets see, the twilights can exchange secrets on fighting back the others, and the other books can have fun!

2248397 that would be awesome! lolz

message 159: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 lol, i am *loving* this conversation! we are AWESOME!
heeeeeeeyy maybe our books can have a playdate! :P

2248397 lolz. i sadly dont own the books of bayern, but with the wonderful powers of the library i am able to read them all.same with PJ&TO. rite now im on the septimus heap and inkspell, the sequel to inkheart, again because of the wonderful library. i keep those seperate from the books on the shelf where Clique, HDM, and my gail carson levigne books reside b/c i dont want a riot to start. instead they lay perfectly content beside my countless number of babysitters club books(Ann M. Martin) and on top of my Royal Diaries books (assorted authors)

message 157: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 Lord of the Rings has a major superiority complex. i have to watch them, cause with The Hobbit and The Silmarillion they number as many as the PJ series. And The Goose Girl keeps going "nanny-nanny-boo-boo" to the shelves because im reading her right now and she feels special :P

message 156: by Rae*Ani/Isi* *RolePlay Addicted* (last edited 1 day ago, 10:01AM) (new)

2248397 and my brother keeps the harry potter and narnia books in his room- i believe they get along fine wat with all his other books like Series of Unfortunate Events, Lord of the Rings, and countless others

2248397 yeah, i plan to get at least New moon this year, so twilight wont have to fight everyone off on its own, though Twilight and new moon might get into a fight over the whole team edward and team jacob thing.

message 154: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 lol!!! it's like that old movie, The Pagemaster when all the books come alive. hahaha.
when the books play "King of the Hill" though, everybody wants the Eclipse and Breaking Dawn on their team, haha, and the poor little Narnia books are always picked last :P

2248397 i can immagine. my books generally are well behaved. though lock and key (a sarah dessen) i lonely, my clique books (Lisi Harrison) feel that they are superior, and twilight gets picked on by Princess Academy and the His Dark Materials books (Phillip Pulman) The Sisters Grimm books (Micheal Buckley) and Princess Diaries books get along fairly well, but i'm afraid of what might happen when i add more tomorrow.

thankfully Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Nancy Drew, and the others on my other shelf get along fairly well, so im not too worried about them....

message 149: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 lol. that was funny!
and they liked it, well most of them did. Twilight started to cry, and The Lightning Thief called it melodramatic, and then The Fellowship of the Ring reminded everyone that it was better than everyone else.

2557563 There was no "Death" to any "Olympian" was there? Cuz that would be "The Last" one... Wow I'm lame.
You know what to tell your books? That they need to start a new chapter in their lives. Turn the other page and forgive each other. They are bound the same way. And there is no need to break each other spines anymore!

message 147: by Amelia*annabeth&percy*sittin in a tree*, The Deputy Mod... (new)

1852293 yep. i had to separate The Last Olympian and Deathly Hallows again the other day cause they were trying to knock each other off the bookshelf. and The Looking Glass Wars is in trouble for calling Breaking Dawn fat. AGAIN.

2557563 Oh book drama.
How fun.
