2943061 Hey Shannon, I'm new to this group and just have to say that you are right on with your comments. I like all of her books and have read them several times (something I rarely do because there are so many books out there I haven't read yet.) I liked this one, but there wasn't enough humor, something I've come to enjoy very much between the characters. I liked Jamie too and she did a good job with him. I would have like to see a little more done with Louise's' wedding, though - again too much plot and not enough character interaction. Mavis was kind of thrown in at the end, and the banter between her and Peabody wasn't there as much as I would have liked. Perhaps it was the seriousness of the crimes that put that on the back burner. I don't generally like any books that have children or teenagers as targets, although she did make "Survivor in Death" work very well, and it is one of my favorites. I would love to see McNab and Peabody take the plunge as well, but it may be too soon for that, especially after just have Louise's wedding. Still a good book, though. I just love them all, and so I might be a little biased here. "Creation in Death" was the only one I had trouble reading. Although I liked it, there was too much emphasis on the criminal and the brutality of it. Very intense and tiring at times. But Nora has always been great with her characters and I look forward to more progressions in their development.

Nophoto-f-25x33 Ok so I liked it. I had a few problems with it in general...like not enough McNab or Feeney, but the parts where she is stressing about things for Louise and the wedding were great. It seemed to me to be a good start for a book but there was more depth needed in it for the circle of characters. I did appreciate that Jaime was in the mix again. I liked the info they game about him and what he was going to do and how upset Roarke was over the fact that he couldn't steal Jaime away. I like all of her books. Sometimes I feel like they are not as in depth as I want though. Still waiting to see if McNab and Peabody take the plunge soon.
What did you all think?
