669573 I do plan to read the other two, but I read your reviews on them and I'm not jumping up and down to read them just yet. :-) Going to read something less dark next and I'll pick up the next one in this series when I see it.

946249 I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Kathrynn!

I'd definitely rank it as one of the best books I've read this year. And, I agree, the H/H were great.

Are you planning to read the other 2 in the series? This one was my favorite of the 3, but I enjoyed the whole trilogy.

669573 Wew! Just finished "Fade to Black" and I recommend it to anyone who likes a good thriller-suspense-romance. Excellent book. Nicely written. Suspense had me on the edge of my seat toward the end.

Excellent H/h! One of the best H/hs I've read about in a very long time. The heroine was strong, but not too strong. The hero was not overpowering, protecting, etc. Nice.

669573 I'm enjoying "Fade to Black" and just did an update status to learn there may be a bug in the update status link. Not showing up when looking at the book. Can only see my status when I'm looking at my home page.

Just posted about this in the Feedback Group, so if anyone else notices this, please post there, too.

It may be a bug in the number of books "currently reading." I have two. One is updating fine, the newest (this one) is not. Go figure.

946249 LOL. Looking forward to hearing what you think of it, Kathrynn!

I'm currently in the middle of the 3rd book. Not quite hooked into it yet. It's a very busy story.

669573 I picked up the first book in this series. So looking forward to reading it that I'm not going to file it on the TBR shelves, but keep it right on my desk. Soon. In the middle of something that I can't put down.

925549 Cripe. I've not come across him, thank goodness. Does he really get any customers by being so obnoxious? Rental computers? Whatever.

1918270 Oh boy, that guy is a pain! :(

669573 Here's his current profile link, Kim.

925549 Which guy is the spammer? By the time I see the posts, his profile has been deleted.

669573 A boil on the butt of Goodreads.... He's back.

946249 Ugh, no, missed it but I did see your post in the Feedback group. That dude needs to get a life.

669573 Did you see that spammer was back, bright and early, this morning? Gone again, for now.

message 4: by Isis FG (new)

946249 As soon as I finish going through groups, I'll be getting my review posted.

message 3: by Kathrynn (new)

669573 Neat. Looking forward to your review when you are finished, Isis. :-)

946249 I've got about 80 pages to go in the second book and it's almost as good as the first. I'm highly impressed with Kelly's first attempts at romantic suspense. She obviously has a knack for it.

946249 Leslie Parrish is a pseudonym for romantic comedy writer Leslie Kelly. Her books as Parrish are pure romantic suspense (and what I've read of the first one so far is really good). I would say her Parrish books are comparable to Karen Rose (but with more romance), Kate Brady, and Beverly Barton (but not as disjointed).
