Linda Grace,
I am thoroughly enjoying it, thank you!!!
I have so many "to read" books, it is nice to have help narrowing them down :)
Sara ♥ wrote: "Kellee! You're going crazy with the death books! Don't get too depressed or anything, okay? ;)"
Hopefully next month will be more cheerful :)
I like the ongoing challenge, because it helps me narrow down the books I want to read. Sometimes the list of books I want to read is so overwhelming, that it is helpful to have a topic or theme to narrow it down :D

I really love how she writes. It is so insightful and beautiful. Of the two I've read, What My Mother Doesn't Know is the better.

Agreed. I've read her 4 YA books, and I love the poetry! What My Mother Doesn't Know is my favorite.
Sara,
This is the second one of her's that I have read and I really think that they have such a great character's voice. Also, my students easily connect with her books. They are also pretty quick reads because they are books in verse.

I love your first choice! Fabulous book!

Awww.. Linda Grace, thank you for noticing :P

I love audio books. I borrow the CDs from my public library then put them on my mp3 player and listen to thrm while I drive- it really makes commuting pleasant :)
Yeah, that would be really nice—listening at work. I put them on my Zune and listen as I cook and clean around the house... And I have a cassette tape-to-portable CD player converter for my car; those work with mp3 players, too.
Audio books huh? For awhile I was reading a lot of books that way because my library has a way to download audiobooks to ipod for the 2 week period you would normally check out the book, but then my ipod stopped working. :( I enjoyed audiobooks because my desk job allows me to listen to books while I am working so that was nice.
Yeah, I don't know if I would have read them if they weren't in audio format... They're quite quite fat books...
Good job Sara, I have that series to read at home, but the size does intimidate me somewhat. I will add your name to our scoreboard on the other thread.
I finished Inkdeath by Cornelia Funke yesterday. It was LONG. Good, but LONG. I really liked how it ended... although she kept the ending WIDE OPEN for a spin-off series, didn't she? ;)
Angela, I don't have a minimum number of pages for the ongoing challenges. I will add this to my rules page! :)

EDIT: Do the words "die"/"death"/"dead" need to be exactly that? What about word..."
Those would all be fine. As long as it includes the word. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows would also be accepted.
Oh, geez... I gotta start checking the main threads more often... I keep missing stuff! Hmmm... what to read.... EDIT: Do the words "die"/"death"/"dead" need to be exactly that? What about words like "dies" or a book like Inkdeath? Just curious....
Oh ok cool. Its a good idea! I will try to join in when ever i can :) I will have to think of a book for this catagory.
Yes, that's exactly it. Every month we will have a new task for one book for that month and will be ongoing so anyone can join in whenever they have time. If you decide to read a book that fits one month and not the next, that's fine too. :)
The Dead Until Dark series is an adult series I'm pretty sure. I've read them, and there's quite a bit of sex. If you've seen the show TrueBlood, you'll get the idea.
