Anyone have a good recommendation for Halloween "mood" reading? I am currently reading The Turn of the Screw for its ghostly elements.
I'm currently reading The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. A Dracula tale, without the campiness of a lot of recent vampire books (though I love those, too). I was literally clutching my neck last night as I was reading it.
I wasn't a fan of The Historian myself, but I could see it being a good Halloween read! I think a good book for Halloween would probably be Audrey Niffenegger's Her Fearful Symmetry. I hear it's creepy.
