A Great and Terrible Beauty Movie!
I just read Libba's blog and it said that the script is going to be finished in 4-6 weeks! I am going to die if the script isn't just right, and the actors don't look like the characters, and the realms don't look like the realms. So basically, they make one wrong move and this movie is completely awful in my book. It's going to be fun bashing it though. What do you guys think about it? And who should play the characters?
I read the blog also. I like the fact that there is going to be a movie. I'm scared that I'm going to be dissappointed, though. Moviemakers always ruin it for me.
I think that Libba has it under control, though. She added a post to her blog today. It is sooooo funny. Everyone has to read it.

I think that the four girls and Kartik should all be newcomers, and then the adults should be really seasoned actors and actresses. I think that maybe Maggie Smith or Helen Mirren should be Mrs Nightwing
Ya, definetly newcomers for the girls and Kartik. Who should play Circe? Thats also going to be a tall order for me, Circe has to capture the good and the bad, the light and the dark, but slightly more so with the dark, the actress has to be amazing and again, I don't think that certain picture in my head of her can't be matched.
When she was in my home town last week I met her and she said she's hoping for brand-new nobody has heard from before actresses... And as long as it wasn't Miley Cyrus.... As she put it "That would not be the best of both worlds"
She also says that writers have basically no control over the movie...
lol I know in her blog when she said no Miley Cyrus, I was dying laughing, Miley would be soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad. And Miley is certainly not a unknown. lol "That would not be the best of both worlds" love tht!! You met Libba? LUCKY!!

Did you see the videos she made with Maureen Johnson?
I would be on a rebellion if Miley was going to play Gemma. I would be outside the movie theatres with signs saying not to watch the movie cause the Miley is an idiot!

Omg. Me too. I would hunt down Miley and knock her out and then lock her in the closet. Then go protest.
I seriously don't think that Miley will be in the movie. That would be moviemaker suicide for her and all of the casting agents and producers.
She could NEVER pull it off! Her country accent would SO not work! And the movie would be totally UNSUCCESSFUL!

Libba would probably sue, and tell them on like LIVE TV that she had no part in the casting of this movie. And Miley would cry and get kicked off, and then they would get a new actress! Yea!

oh! and go to youtube and if you but 'a great and terribe beauty-characters' theres also a great one, but i think they put ithal instead of kartik. Brigid is perfect! I like Rachel Hurd-wood for Gemma for sure, and in another one i think Keira would be awesome as pippa if she had black hair. and if you type in 'a great and terrible beauty- felicity and pippa' theres a great one for them.
Seriously, I am sooooo happy and excited right now, because I'm praying that Romola Garai is going to be cast for Felicity! I have no idea why I thought she would be old now, but she was Briony in Atonment, so I'm really hoping that she is going to be Felicity!

Yeah, if she were younger. Except I sort of see pippa like Alexis Bledel. Not exactly but pretty close.
Check this out Helena, someone just mentioned her for the movie on the site imdb for playing Gemma. And she's not my exact vision of gemma but I think she could pull it off. Look wise. But, she needs green eyes. But acting wise I don't know, I've never seen her act. She's a model right now, though. Exept it says she's interested in acting.

Yeah, but Gemma has that many freckles. She grew up in india. But I don't know Cyntia does have a lot. My gemma doesn't have as many as her, but still quite a lot.
You know, you all are going to kill me for this but, I didn't really picture her with freckles. A dust of them on her cheeks and nose, but otherwise, not really.
