Is she making another book about her? I think she should have been with Kartik and if not with Simon at first.
i want her to be happy but i don't want her to love anyone else, it would be like she was betraying him. i cried my heart out at the ending but i'm glad libba Bray did that because a happy ever after would ruin the whole trilogy.

I think that if she did love again, it would be with someone who had also lost their first true love. And Emma I think you state what Gemma would do and be like in the future perfectly.
It was the way I took that one part of the book (the whole binding each other to one another). I just don't think it would be fair for either Gemma or whoever else who would love her, that she would go with second best.
I looooooooooooooooove Kartik! I was sad when they were seperated :( I totally agree with you though. (Would you want me to call you Gemma or Emma?)
Just because you see your love with someone else doesn't mean that you can't continue to love them. I think Kartik would want Gemma to move on. I think she will, to a certain extent anyway.
Also, of course she won't be able to love someone else the way she loved Kartik. Kartik was her FIRST love. And not her last. She will be a different, stronger, wiser person when she falls in love again. Kartik will always be a part of her.
I can't really remember some parts in TSFT but I remember the two of them being "bind" to one another (it's the how I can't remember). I took that as there would be no way Gemma could fall in love with anyone else. So I think that she will wait.
Here is something to think about, if Gemma did move on and did end up marrying someone else, what would happen in the world beyond the realms when her husband sees her with Kartik? That would hurt him and Gemma because her love would be split and that wouldn't be good. I think that she wouldn't be able to love someone else the way she loved Kartik. She knows that she will see him beyond the realms, so in my opinion she should wait for then.
And sometimes it's only first love for one and not the other. Luckily, Gemma and Kartik's was mutual. Obviously.
Okay, so you go to the homepage, and you'll see all the other forums. That's what I mean.

I'm happy Gemma was able to go to university in NY. I was happy about Ann and Fee. They all got what they wanted. At least some part.

i don't really have anything against her. she knows that she cant use the powers to much but she only uses it 2 help people.
Kelsey, well, of course she wants to be a different person. She's going to become a governess to her bratty cousins and live a life she doesn't want.

true, same.
ann was one of the better characters the only thing i didn't like was the fact that she seamed to always want to be a different person

Mhm. Gemma is the biggest part.
I love Kartik, I love Gemma, Fee, Pip, Ann, Mrs. Nightwing, Brigid. I love them all.
Except Lord Denby. Heh heh.
