I love these books! I actually liked these books more then the Percy Jackson series (which by the way I LOVE.) I like the Chronicles because it had so much sarcasm and humor in it that it makes you burst out laughing. Also because when I read the first book I was close to being Charlotte's age and unlike some authors out there who totally underestimate a wit of a pre-teen Anne Ursu created a character that I felt they were very much real. Charlotte might have been a brat at times but she had a good heart and was quick and witty when push came to shove. In general an awesome series.

I love these books. I recommend them to fans of the PErcy Jackson series. These books aren't as fast paced as Percy Jackson but they do a great job of bringing mythology to life.

So I just finished the first book and I'm currently reading the second

Has anyone else read this series?

For anyone one who hasn't- it's a children's fiction which similarily to Percy Jackson, incorperates greek myth with modern day society.

I very much enjoyed the first book but found it a lot slower than the second book so far.

I wouldn't say I love it as much as Percy Jackson but I am trying to suspend comparison- and I like it very much in it's own right.
