2454496 I'll read them both :-) and I'll be posting here - sorry, it may be a while but I promise I will.

584609 Hi Dustin,
I hope you get a chance to check A Real Basket Case out of the library again! Also, I find my male readers often prefer the sequel, To Hell in a Handbasket, because there are more action scenes. After you read both, you'll have to let me know what you think.
- Beth

2454496 Beth, Thanks for the discussion thread! :-) Ummm right now I don't have your book because I gave it back to the library, but I did start the first few pages and it's still listed as a book I'm "currently reading" on goodreads. I do still plan to read A Real Basketcase; when I start reading it again - I'll find this thread.

584609 In the "Which Mystery Authors from your state do you like?" Dustin asked if there was a discussion thread for my books in this group, so I thought I'd start one. I did run a separate Q&A discussion group during the month of May for the release of the second book in the series, TO HELL IN A HANDBASKET. To read the discussions there, go to:
http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/1774...

The first book in the series is titled A REAL BASKET CASE, and was a finalist for the 2007 Best First Novel Agatha Award. To find out more about me and my books, please visit my website at: http://bethgroundwater.com/
If you sign up for my email newsletter there, you'll be entered into a contest for free mystery books.

First, I'd like to find out if any of you will be attending the Bouchercon conference in Indianapolis. I'll be there and would love to meet some of my fellow mystery lovers in person. I'll be on the "Killer Hobbies" panel 9:00 - 9:55 am on Thursday and will be teaching a class on making killer mystery baskets in the Craft Room on Saturday 10:30 - 11:30 am. You have to sign up for this class ahead of time at the Bouchercon website. Please come up and introduce yourself to me if you're going to be there!
