I am trying to get more people to read a book I wrote, "Thanksgiving: The Pilgrims' First Year in America." it's already in hundreds of libraries (including, maybe, yours), but I want it to be in all libraries.

If any of you would be willing to consider adding the book to your library's collection and to write a short review for Goodreads, I'd be glad to send you a copy of the paperback edition. (It's also in hardcover and audio.) I don't have enough for everybody, but I'll send one to the first several who ask for it.

"Thanksgiving" is a not about a holiday. It's about the people who settled at Plymouth and planted the seeds of the American culture. It covers just about every known detail about that crucial year between the landing of the Mayflower and the famous harvest feast of the following fall. Though written for adults, the reading (i.e. language) level is rated for the 8th grade.
