736399 I noticed that Firestar has changed a lot since he was an apprentice. He seems more cautious and strict. Does anyone know why?

909992 Well, when he's a leader he needs to be for his Clan. Maybe he changed when he had his leader ceremony, but I think that mainly time matured him.

You know, I liked it better when the series foollowed Firestar and Firestar alone. I dont like folowing like four different people!

938730 I think so too. Plus, it just seems like all the Warriors books should be Firestar's. It did start out with him, and it always seemed to make more scence when they were centered that way. But that's just me.

909992 I liked Firestar better when he was in the first series. Now he's really boring. And I was disappointed when the second series was not in Firestar's view anymore- now he seemed so remote, and sometimes you couldn't understand his actions.

I SO hated Firestar! I am really happy they switched main characters! Squirrelflight rules! I think the series will continue with Firestars kin, and keep going and going and going! I think It is bad to leave a series with one person, because if they die, the series die!

909992 I like when it is in more than one perspective, because then you get a wider range of view and get to see what happens in more than one cat's eyes.

message 8: by deleted member (new)

I agree with Sella. You can miss valuable information if you only see in one cats perspective!

message 9: by Sella (new)

909992 And it's interesting to see what different cats think of the same things. Plus I love it when the reader knows something one of the main characters don't!

message 10: by deleted member (new)

That is the best! I don't like that feeling that if you only see in one cats eyes you miss something. Like if you only saw in Hollypaw's eyes you wouldn't know about Jaypaw's visions, or about Lionpaw secretly meeting Heatherpaw.

message 11: by Sella (new)

909992 Exactly. Whenever you know something that the main character doesn't, I always want to jump in the book and tell them! Also, sometimes it's funny when one cat reacts to something that you already knew about with surprise, and cats have such different reactions on the same things!!

732139 Firestar rules and they never should have switched main characters so I hope that Firestar doesn't die EVER!!!!!!

message 13: by deleted member (new)

I hope he does die! Not really. But I am SO glad they switched points of view! I was getting sick of Firestar!

message 14: by Sella (new)

909992 I was a little disappointed, but the different views was more interesting.

message 15: by Galia (new)

851772 i WAS disappointed.

message 16: by deleted member (new)

I was SO happy! I hated Firestar. I often hate the ain characters. Like I hated Harry in the Harry Potter books.

message 17: by Sella (new)

909992 Really? You hate Firestar and Harry? I didn't hate them, but I thought Firestar got a little boring after he became all good and stuff...

message 18: by deleted member (new)

I usually hate the main characters when they seem they are SO popular blah blah blah. I liked him much better after he became leader. And don't even get me started on Harry!

message 19: by Morgan (new)

938730 Yah, it was better when he broke more rules. He does cross territories and things still, but it's not the same.

message 20: by deleted member (new)

Yeah. Goody two shoes and teachers pets drive me MAD! MAD I say!

message 21: by Sella (new)

909992 Same here, I liked him when he was a little naughty apprentice, breaking the warrior code. So much more exciting!

message 22: by Allie (new)

835716 I did like him when he was younger- But I don't think he's goody-two-shoes- he's just older and wiser. He's still the same and I still love him. And I don't think he should die cuz the first series was about him, and tho its ok it branched off, he should always b in them.

message 23: by Sella (new)

909992 Yeah, but wouldn't it be cool if Brambleclaw became leader?

message 24: by Allie (new)

835716 yeah, see what i said in firestar die but if he does die (plz no!) it better b a heroic death!

message 25: by Sella (new)

909992 Yeah. Maybe, at the end of the serieses (sp?) they'll show an excerpt with Brambleclaw as leader. Bramblestar...sounds awesome!!

message 26: by Allie (new)

835716 it does i have 2 say

message 27: by PJW (new)

732139 Cordelia, you better leave this group soon or I'll make sure you do,because Firestar ROCKS and,you know he does, and you can't deny that!!!!!

message 28: by PJW (new)

732139 yeah that sounds sorta good,Bramblestar... but still it would be sad to see Firestar gone...

message 29: by PJW (new)

732139 If Firestar dies he should be reborn, like Cinderpelt, and be named Firekit, and become leader all over again...

message 30: by Sella (new)

909992 I would want him to take a different path than leader. Maybe medicine cat! Have you noticed that medicine cats are always female in ThunderClan??

message 31: by iluvcatz (Katie) (new)

2114850 I wuv Firestar! *squeezes Firestar*

ME too!

2418650 Firestar is my fave charrie.

Nophoto-m-25x33 I liked Firestar but I don't think he was the greatest clan leader. He led his clan well though through pretty tough times.

2418650 The only thing i hate about him is that he made Thunderclan full kittypet!

message 37: by Grayfur (new)

Nophoto-m-25x33 There were a few cats of kittypet origin but the majority were clan born.

2418650 No, there half breeds and kittypets with a few full blood, give me the names of the still clan born.

message 39: by Anna (new)

Nophoto-f-25x33 .....there aren't many...... but who can blame him "Once a kittypet always a kittypet"

message 41: by Grayfur (new)

Nophoto-m-25x33 I can't bring myself to put down kittypets. The so called kittypets in Thunderclan were perfectly capable of defending themselves and did so on several occasions. What would have happened to the clans in their struggle against Bloodclan if Firestar wouldn't have put some backbone in the other clan leaders?

736399 I don't like putting down kittypets either, but I think some of them are a little annoying. For example, Millie and Daisy. They didn't change their names and their clan loyalty is not exactly related to the clan at all. They are more loyal to their family/loves. Firestar and few of the other kittypets like Cloudtail have true loyalty and strength as warriors.

message 43: by Grayfur (new)

Nophoto-m-25x33 My question still hasn't been answered about the clash with Bloodclan. Where would the clans have been if Firestar didn't convince the other clan leaders to fight Scourge? Remember. he was a kittypet once and he became a darn good leader.

message 44: by Grayfur (new)

Nophoto-m-25x33 Millie and Daisy were just showing their independence in refusing to bow down to receiving clan names. They were each valuable in their own way to the clan. It's not the name that makes anyone but who you are inside.
