I really liked the Crucible actually, we listened to it on tape (so 90's), which was kinda lame, and all the actors were really terrible. But the play itself is really good! And it's cool how Arthur Miller wrote it in the time of McCarthyism, it really says something about McCarthyism and the Salem witch hunts.So sad though.
cool cool ! Act 1 was really really boringggg and took foreverr, the rest of the book/play (we read the play) went by a lot fasterrrr. :D
It sounds like an interesting book☺ I really want to read Romeo and Juliet because everyone says it is such an awful but great story. You're a freshman honors? Me 2! lolz☺ What does your picture mean?
The juniors just finished reading it. I'm a freshman in all honors so I guess I'm reading it next year. I know the background story because as a sixth grader I got really into the witch trials of salem and everthing that went along with them. I'm pretty excited to start reading it next year. Heck, I might even get ahead of the game and read it next week.
i LOVED Romeo and Juliet. :) It was my FAVORITE. =P
i rented the movie and watched it non stop for a week straight. i used to be obsessed with movies, and i'd have a movie of the week, every week, that would be playing every single second i was in my room. ;)
I'm still in the begining because our teacher is weird and she has us read a scene then we watch that scene in the movie.. Its kind of annoying.
omg we're reading this for English 3 and today we got to the part where they were all in the court room blaming Mary Warren ! it was getting good ! :)

i was in this honors class in sixth grade- eighth (hello, nerd school!) actually, it was an extra program to get you into one of the seven specialized high schools in new york citaay, and i was one of the people in it.
i had to read it in like sitxh grade.
totally not a good thing to do, explain witch burnings to a ten year old.
