I'm giving away: The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair that Changed America.
This is the trade paperback size book, in good condition, gifted to me by Allison, but I'm not really all that interested in reading it, so I figured that I would pass it along to someone who is.
If you're interested, let me know, and we can work out a trade. :D
Ummm...alot...give me some options: Authors, Genre's.
I'll be home in about an hour or so. I'll give you a list of some books then.
Hmm... I'm good for almost everything. I've been reading a lot of fantasy lately, so maybe not that, unless you have some really good ones. :DHow about classics? I haven't been reading any classics lately, shame on me! Or Sci-fi?
I dunno... :)
Okay. Clearly I forgot last night to give you a list of some of my books. I swear I will do it tonight. I'm very forgetful. *scared to let Becky down again*
I forgot to post the list of books. But if you didn't know you were let down then I'm off the hook. Huzah!
Good News! I remembered. Bad news....I don't have much to offer. As far as classics go I can offer:
My Antonia by Willa Cather
The Story of King Arthur and His Knights by Howard Pyle
Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe
Watership Down by Richard Adams
A Tale of Two Cities by Dickens of course
Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott
Do any of those sound good?
Hmm... well I own My Antonia, and UTC, I've read Watership Down, and A Tale of Two Cities (but I might like to own/re-read that one - is it paperback and unabridged?)and I'm not sure about the others...
Are those just the classics you have to offer? *really not trying to be picky* =\
ummmm...Yeah those were just my classics. I'll check again tonight and see if Two Cities is abridged or not and see if I can give you more choices.
*rolls eyes at Becky's pickyness - just take my weirdy books Becky* :)
Alright I think I might be out for this one. All the HF I own I haven't read yet and everything else I own is Sci-fi/Fantasy.If you can give me a week or so I could do Suite Francaise.
I have an old calculus text book in good shape that I'm trying to unload if you enjoy doing calculus for kicks.
Ooh, the calculus book IS tempting! O_oWhat are the SF/fantasy books you have to offer? I love both genres, so if I absolutely MUST, I suppose I could take one of those. :P
I don't have anything to give away. Everything that I would have traded I recently swaped on PBS.
You'll have to find someone else. :(
No, that's cool. I'll take A Tale of Two Cities or Ivanhoe, as long as it's unabridged. :)
Unfortunately, I'm broke right now, so I won't be able to send the book until next payday... which is in 2 weeks.
Yes, that's right, I JUST got paid, and I'm broke again. Oh, the joys of being a grown-up. *sigh*
