245880 Just finished Rainwater and really liked it. It's a bittersweet story set during the great Depression, not much of a suspense story, more of a family story with a touch of romance...as usual, SB's writing can pull anything off.

2946351 Also she has two 1800 books that start with a wagon train
Sunset Embrace, tho I normally don`t care for historicals this is such a great love story, and the way the H/h got together and the trials and tribulations of their relationship.I think this book has so many layers and the characters are so well done it is incredible.5*
Another Dawn
The contiuing story tells of the trials of the daughter and the man she loves that is the parents best fried, but they still don`t approve.5*

2946351 I love Sandra Brown too,My favorite by her is
Slow Heat In Heaven
Takes place on the La Bayous,
Story of a twin that returns to save the estate and business and the twin that hates her and fouls up everything she tries. So she hires Super Alpha hunk Cash who has a real chip on his shoulder, and who she has always wanted too.
There is a scene in here of the evil dude meeting his maker that stood my hair on end,I have never read a twist quite like it and OMG,it`s a fantastic book, but that one scene is definitly worth the time.Probably my favorite or rather one of two of my favs,a real 5* for me.

I don't believe any of those are in a series. I don't think she does series's, but I could be wrong.

Nophoto-f-25x33 Hi Keri,
Are those books in series or individual books? I've never read her books before.

Awesome! Thanks for the update, I'll bug my library to order it.

245880 Great deal, Keri!! Chill Factor is one of my faves, Tierney was hot!

message 20: by Keri (new)

2342404 I just picked up "Chill Factor" from the Half Price Book Store for $1! gotta love those clearance aisles!

This is close to the top of my favs for Sandra Brown. It has a little of everything in it and kept me guessing til the very end.

message 19: by Keri (new)

2342404 "Hello Darkness" was another great one. A little different then her other books I'd say. I can't put my finger on it, but it had a great story.

"Ricochet" was great! Had me going til the very end!

245880 Envy turned out to be much better than I expected...I waited a while to read it, was kind of turned off by the storyline but it turned out to be such an original/suspenseful/romantic/bittersweet book!

Leola, I've read Ricochet a couple of times, mostly because I really liked the hero Duncan and how he's so hooked on Elise...hope you like it too.

Mirror Image was a good one too, read it years ago, time for a re-read so I can refresh my memory!

I haven't read "Riccochet." I bought it. I can't wait to get to it. Have any of you read it? I loved "Where There is Smoke" and "The Witness." Sandra Brown is really good at Romantic Suspense.

245880 Another big time Sandra Brown here, thanks for adding her Keri! I have read every book she's written, incl. the old Loveswept romances (talk about some outdated storylines!)

Has anyone read her latest book Smashcut? I have and really liked it, maybe cause I love movie too..., better than last year's Smokescreen anyway.

You're right Auntee, her romance writing is soooooo good, you really miss it in her hardcover titles...still her writing style keeps me coming back to her, even in hardcover.

2662498 I honestly didn't see the clues until the middle of the book but I loved it.

I just read "Mirror Image", I liked that one too. Although the villain was a bit predictable.

message 12: by Ronica (new)

2662498 It is one of my favorites by her.

message 11: by Kathrynn (new)

669573 Ah, thank you, ladies. I have "Envy." Nice to "shop" on the 'ole "to read" shelf. :-)

message 10: by Ronica (new)

2662498 It is a really page turner.

message 9: by Auntee (new)

886675 Envy was great!

message 8: by Ronica (new)

2662498 I also lived Mirror Image.

message 7: by Ronica (new)

2662498 Same here, I remember going to work very tired the next day.

Ooh Yeah, "Envy" was one of those books I stayed for HOURS reading would wake up early just to finish!

2662498 My all time favortie by Sandra Brown is Envy, I strongly recommend this. It is a little on the romance but the book is amazing.

message 4: by Kathrynn (new)

669573 I have a couple of her books on the 'ole to read shelf, but haven't got to them, yet.

message 3: by Auntee (new)

886675 Sandra Brown was one of my early romance favorites. At one time I had read all her books--I couldn't get enough! Ever since she went hardcover and a little lighter on the romance I've lost track of her.

message 2: by Kathrynn (new)

669573 Yes, I was surprised we didn't already have a topic for Sandra Brown, Keri. Thanks for adding her. :-)

message 1: by Keri (new)

2342404 I don't know if I'm allowed to do this, but I'm adding Sandra Brown to this list. Her books are RED HOT and yep SO suspenseful I usually find it hard to put them down.

My favorite of hers is hard to choose, but its a tie between "Witness" and "Best Kept Secrets"
