Thank you, Gwendolyn! I truly appreciate that. And, hopefully, Herman found something more appropriate to chew on. :-) Something similar happened with my very first book. I was at a signing and a woman who had already bought the book brought it to the store to be signed and showed me tiny tooth marks on the binding. She said her Shih Tzu puppy had picked it out from a stack of books and teethed on it. She asked me what I thought of that. Not knowing how to respond but thinking it was pretty funny, I said, "Well, he's literary and has good taste." ;-) Yes, it got the hoped-for laugh. I'm glad she had a sense of humor!

It's a dog behavior book with solid information but my warped sense of humor. I think people get too upset and tense which does no good. I've peppered the book with real examples, changing most of the names to protect the "guilty." ;-) I set out the problem, what to do, what not to do, and you're not alone so let's get on with fixing the problem. My methods are positive. The book is small and relatively inexpensive so it makes a nice gift or stocking stuffer.
