6/7 read - FINAL UPDATEActually finished my "E" book today. Probably would have finished this challenge if I hadn't gone to the F1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi (first time held here) on Friday. Had an awesome time so no reading that day was a sacrifice I was happy to make :)

7/7 Complete! Haha just made it...
Thanks! It's so good to be back reading :) And now I'm going to bookclub and I'm gonna sneak out partway through and scour the shelves for the first 2 books in the Jill Kismet series (Redemption Alley was book 3 geez).
Dragged my last book out over a couple of days because I didn't want it to end:
Congrats Jim.
Short months aren't as difficult Yz, but Sept through Dec is tough along with the regular challenge. Up to you if you want to add character names in. I know with the male and female seperate character names next year we'll be looking for alot more books.
Your little story had me giggling, Jim. I didn't realize the kind of "trouble" you can get into while doing the challenges....LOL
Congrats also to finishing!
Yay, Jim! Congrats. Yay, Angie! Great job.And you know what else was priceless? This little story of yours, Jim. Had me laughing, thanks.
I like the challenge of title only myself. I don't know if I'll do November or not, but reading Expectant Mistress just because it was short and started with an E tickled my fancy. At lunch yesterday, I was waiting for a friend to show up so read a few pages. Thus I didn't notice my friend approach.
"WTF are you reading?" she asked.
"A crappy romance novel."
"WTF is wrong with you? Does that really say 'Expectant Mistress'?" she continued as she grabbed the book before I had a chance to pocket it. "Please tell me this is a fake cover and you are really reading something less embarrassing, like kiddie porn."
"It's OK," I countered. "I just needed a book that started with E."
Her blank stare was priceless.
Speaking of priceless, guess who finished his first Read the Month challenge? If you didn't pick up the answer was me then I've apparently overestimated you.
O - Our Husband by Stephanie Bond (10/6)
C - Chloe Does Yale by Natalie Krinsky (10/9)
T - The Tao Of Sex by Jade Lee (10/3)
O - Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell (10/30)
B - Blush by Opal Carew (10/2)
E - Expectant Mistress by Sara Wood (10/29)
R - A Rake's Guide To Pleasure by Victoria Dahl (10/1)
See your point, Briansgirl.
I'm actually contemplating of adding characters' names in the mix. What do you think?
It really helps when you can use authors first names, authors last names or book title. I'd never make it if it was book title alone.
Didn't think I'd manage this month but have finished!

Glad to hear it arrived, LL! Hope you enjoy it :)"
Am loving it! Took me a wee while to get my head around the historical/paranormal thing, but now am totally into it. Have already reserved no. 2 from work.
