Inspired by the changing hues of the Fall season, October's is nicknamed Literary Colors Challenge.

Duration: October 1st to 30th

The goal is to read 9 books whose covers match predominantly the colors listed.

Ann--have you tried looking at the different editions? When you pull up the book cover link, you have the option to choose other editions. You may have already thought of that...

I have read all the BDB books and by looking at the synopsis, didnt recognize any of the character names. I just posted a question to others who have read it--I will let you know what they say.

You can read Covet first, but you won't get the little things, like the mention of the Brothers from Black Dagger Brotherhood, etc. But there's enough explanation in Covet that even though they take place in the same town, Caldwell, you won't be messed up.

However, a big part of what made Covet so "special", besides the amazing story, was the little glimpses of familiar places and people from BDB.
