Nightkeepers ((Final Prophecy, Book 1) by Jessica Andersen

Covet is to be released Tuesday, September 29, 2009.

I could only afford one book last Friday. Coles had both books in stock: Covet and Born of Night. I never was able to get my hands on the 'abbreviated' version of the first book of The League. And so, I had to choose, Covet or Born of Night. Well, I thought hard, and came home with Born of Night. Covet is now on hold at the store for me with my name on it, LOL! I finished Born of Night this morning. Now I can't wait for Covet. LOL! ;)

I picked up Covet by J.R. Ward tonight. In the acknowledgements at the beginning of the book Ward writes, "And with total gratitude to Doc Jess (aka Jessica Andersen) . . ."

Interesting that the authors of both of our BotMs are friends who acknowledge the support each provides the other. J.R. Ward's background as a corporate attorney and former chief of staff of a major hospital is well known. Jessica Andersen has an equally impressive background as a PhD in genetics and former researcher on genetic changes responsible for certain types of glaucoma.

Wow! How awesome is that?

That really is so cool. But where do they find the time to write?

I know J.R. Ward is now writing full time.
